Here are my roughs, and also my debut as an animator on Helluva Boss! Working on these cuts has been great learning experiences, and it was so exciting to see the final compositing of these. Thanks
@VivziePop
for having me for work on your beloved series!
Hi there, I'm still learning but I believe I can do animation commissions or storyboarding for those interested! I'm also open for freelancing!
If you could retweet I'd be very grateful!
It's great to see another successful launch of
@PelleCreepy
's and
@SumpKun
's Kamen America for Volume 9.
Also, here's a quick animation process that I can now show. This is all five of them in current Kamen Corp attack sequence that appears in the current trailer.
Layout to compositing of the latest animation I made for Kamen America.
Thanks as always
@POTUSThump
for having me for more animation work on your comic!
Special thank you to
@karlsia_art
who spent months hand-animating part of our new title intro! We can't wait to show you what comes next!
Karl Sia のアニメーションは完全に手作業で行われました! 今後もアニメ化予定!

Here's my weird entry, also for newgrounds animation jam! It doesn't make it easy to make sense of it and tell you what's exactly happening, because where's the fun in that? I'd love to hear what you think is going on here.
If I had an animation reel during gradeschool/highschool. Along with edgy Linkin Park music that us kids love (RIP Chester) I'm sure one of these was hilariously blammed in Newgrounds on some account I made before.
(sorry for repeat tweet, my dumx2 brain accidentally deleted it)
Sketched out a random character last November for the Newgrounds' Secret Santa, but didn't participate in since I really wasn't sure I could make time to commit to it
I was feeling a little more motivated than usual so I tried to fully render this second long animation. I don't understand why I torture myself like this, but somehow I do it anyway.
Working on a big project with a similar art style. I haven't explored pixel art a lot, so I made something simple to help me get into the swing of it. Its a drunk girl enjoying the company of a slime/thing? Whatever it is, it seems to be good with alcohol and conversations.
For those of us still working hard on their animations for the 1930s Robots jam on
@Newgrounds
with only 3 days left before the deadline: Keep it up! Don't stop until you're done!
@Anime_Generic
@VivziePop
damn I can't seem to find that specific image that explains it. Here's my attempt at it instead. And the frames is a mix of 2s and 3s i think, only very few frames at 1s.
You know those mindless drawings you do where after you're done, you slap that Ctrl+S and type random gibberish for a filename? I thought it would be fun if I gather all of mine and make a collage. There's a message here somewhere about ones subconscious approach to art maybe
@SamuelDeats
Hi, I'm a self-taught animator and here's a few clips of some anime-styled work I can do. Haven't tried Toon Boom Harmony since I use Photoshop, but I can try learn it.
Wow! the responses to this is overwhelming! I only expected to get a few interested for a commission to pay the bills, but now I have to figure out how to manage this much demand. But I know this is a good thing too, at least I'm getting somewhere! Thanks everyone!
@Anime_Generic
@VivziePop
Thanks, it was tough, but apparently the trick is to key the head going up but facing two opposite directions, then add the zig zagging in betweens. After seeing those Milt Kahl head swaggles, I realized that this was a golden opportunity to make an attempt like that.

Took a short break from animation work to practice my rendering. Here's a wip of what I came up with. Still trying understand how to render a glossy jacket
Tried giving this one some color!
Took me an afternoon to do the roughs and lineart, and another for the cleanup and colors for 1 sec of animation. I'll have to take note of that.
Sorry boys. I know you've got your s p o o k y costumes on, but you won't be the protagonists for this
#Halloween2019
animation I'm working on. Which I hope I could finish before October says goodbye.
I'm feeling tired from making art stuffs, so I figured I'd review my basics and animate a simple sacky sack to ease myself while still getting something done.
#floursackanimation
Been a long while since I animated something. I've forgotten how long it takes to do something like this. whew. By the way, I''m still open for commissioning on short animated clips like this one!
Just sort of recovered from a burn out; this time it took 2 weeks of doing nothing before feeling productive again. I'm thinking of taking note of my burn out times and see how long it takes for me to recover next time. How long does it take for you to recover from burn out?
@SamuelDeats
One thing I learned from Bahi is that when in a pipeline, always think about how to make it easier for the next person to work on your output and not to add to their burden
ive spent all night till morning busting this animation out. Then i forget to prerender and replace most of the clips so I had to do that before i could export. Now ita finally encoding smoothly. Will have this uploaded on newgrounds asap when done
So I was rummaging through my old folders full of forgotten unfinished artworks and animations, and I came across something I made from 2015. I am shocked. I just cannot imagine what I was thinking when I made this
A Pumpkin Boy must cope with not only the loss of his friends, but the isolation of a new town after their family moves on Halloween night. A touching film by
@karlsia_art
Played around with the many brushes I haven't touched for very long to decide which ones I should familiarize and ended up making some fruit with a reflective underside and splattered blood. I don't really know why, but the mood I had led me this
The ultimate definition of art. My 3rd round entry for the NG jam? This is it. The problem in the future is strange floating men shimmying to the beat of vengaboys
@misspanica1
I was so excited when I saw the clean up, you did great! I hope it wasn't too hard to do, I was struggling with making sure the lines were clear enough for clean up.
How do artists keep it all together? There's so much needed to learn to make decent artworks. Im still trying to know by heart how anatomy works for animation. Im not as confident with my rendering as Id like to be. But I have to earn from it too. I just feel overwhelmed at times
Would be nice to raise the 200mb limit when adding attachments on patreon. That way I wouldnt have to spend too much time packing my animation projects into multiple files. Speaking of which, you get access to these resources if you become a patron!
Last year, I read
@CCH_EricMoser
's interactive novel Community College Hero, and made my rendition of his character Dirty Girl. And now after reading part 2 of his novel, I was incredibly surprised to see a descriptive reference to the artwork I did! Thanks, and great work Eric!
@SamuelDeats
Just finished reading the survival kit a few months ago, and it surprisingly helped me understand & plan my animations better. Tho tbf I had not seen a lot of animation resources, so I couldnt say how redundant the kit would be for other animators who had learned differently.
So all i ever like doing is creating art and playing videogames, and somehow my interest in doing either is a roller coaster. What do you do to stay passionate about your interests?
Here's the very first rough sketch I made of Dr. Brie when I was figuring out the story my The 2nd Wilhelm Tragedy. She had no idea what was going to happen to her :( I feel bad now
@aalong64
Same! So I figured i should confirm my memory of it on youtube. I guess I imagined the wrong angle, but the shape of the building really stuck to me
I've decided to do some serious self studying from the bottom-up on how to draw, starting with Andrew Loomis' book Drawing the Head and Hands, and this passage just made me chuckle a little
@DavidTheBudgen
@Newgrounds
No wayy, That is so unreal! I just checked it out, I even found my sleepy character too on bobbycmorgan's flying character. Now this just made my day!
Currently helping out with rough character animations for this in-developement, indie brawler,

! Been worked on since almost two years ago i believe, and now we finally have enough progress to make it public.
No joke I just had a dream where
@TomFulp
sent me a message saying I missed the deadline for the animation jam and sorry but I can't participate. Did I just have a premonition
@Anime_Generic
@Newgrounds
Yep I was originally planning on adding folly but yes time constraints. But at the same time, without time constraints I wouldn't be as motivated (forced to make progress) to work on it. Its both a relatively good and bad thing.
The thing I have about animating a long project, is that after the writing then accomplishing the first scenes, I get this proud feeling. But as you push on and on working on the same project, I gradually get so impatient and tired of it. But after its all over? Oh the euphoria

I dont think knowing that a stock photo was used should demean the purpose of the poster, coming from a big company or otherwise, as long as it's effectively used design-wise. if anything its just being efficient.
Been months now since i made a more or less finished artwork. No idea what to draw anymore, so i just tried to draw something spontaneous without thinking too hard
