@iHealthVisiting This is encouraging but doesn’t ally my concerns about the proposed withdrawal of the Apprenticeship levy to support SCPHN training, without these funds the number of HVs that we can train will reduced.

Utterly ridiculous to suggest NHS Trusts and organisations will fund Advanced Clinical Practitioner, District Nurse, Health Visitor and School Nurse level 7 apprenticeship programmes themselves. The funding gap will need to be met by NHS England. Robbing peter to pay paul 😡
