@StephenRoche100 Think was good to try for several reasons but scheduling issues are huge & pleasing guys meant disadvantage for girls (as seen with Hannah & Minjee arriving Wed am after long haul) & reverse is no better. Sep better for this alone. Interested to see where Inclusive Ch/p sits.

Adam Pengilly has reported this am in @heraldsun that @GolfAust has decided to split the men’s & women’s Aust Opens. The men’s may be played a week later & the women will sensibly revert to its late summer time which aligns better with @LETgolf & @LPGA.

@p_penney The women’s @AusOpenGolf at this time of year has worked brilliantly in the past & would be easier scheduling-wise & for potential co-sanctioning. No reason why it couldn’t work at this venue @13thBeachgolf either … the infrastructure was proven when the Vic Open at its peak. 🤔
