No matter how great one thinks his or her cause may be, the end never justifies the means. God holds each one of us accountable for both. That means lying, vandalism, acts of violence, or any other kind of lawlessness committed for the sake of a higher cause is always wrong.

@shashigalore @RodKahx The Republican-led legislative branch is behaving as if it were an extension of the executive branch, and the executive branch is giving indications that it won’t listen to the judicial branch. That’s NOT how this country’s system of government was intended to function.

Trump declared today, “Gulf of America Day,” and called the announcement “even bigger than the Super Bowl” and part of “making America great again.” Trump can’t stand that the Super Bowl is getting more attention than him.

Painting Donald Trump while singing worship music is some wild type of idolatry. The way evangelicals have made Trump out to a prophet-like figure is truly a cause for concern. The desire to win the “culture wars” has led to just straight up idol worship.

@JohnPaulJo55095 @ofctimallen In my opinion, the Geneva Bible, which predates the King James translation, and uses the same textual basis, is a better translation. In any case, claiming that the KJV is the “preserved word of God” is similar to the medieval church’s claim regarding the Vulgate.

I personally knew roughly a handful of people who died of COVID after refusing to get vaccinated because of things they heard on right-wing media. Grifting “influencers” like Candace Owens have blood on their hands.
I have had zero side effects from the Covid vaccine and boosters… Despite anti vax lot saying they’d be millions dead by now… Seems they were wrong! Who else had no effects at all????
