@physicsandpicts @TeslaBoomerMama @WSJ @jtoonkel @berber_jin1 Maybe, for a pair of Apples at the grocery store 🍎🍎😆 But 100B sounds more legit than 97.4B. And 96.42B would haven been on brand for Elon. I am sure they could have made either one work. 97.4 seems very random.

Tesla is in the most dangerous phase of FSD. It's good enough that people stop paying attention. But it's not good enough for unsupervised yet. They will get there, but please be vigilant if you are driving on FSD.

Soooooo my @Tesla @cybertruck crashed into a curb and then a light post on v13.2.4. Thank you @Tesla for engineering the best passive safety in the world. I walked away without a scratch. It failed to merge out of a lane that was ending (there was no one on my left) and made no attempt to slow down or turn until it had already hit the curb. Big fail on my part, obviously. Don't make the same mistake I did. Pay attention. It can happen. I follow Tesla and FSD pretty closely and haven't heard of any accident on V13 at all before this happened. It is easy to get complacent now - don't. @Tesla_AI how do I make sure you have the data you need from this incident? Service center etc has been less than responsive on this. I do have the dashcam footage. I want to get it out there as a PSA that it can happen, even on v13, but I'm hesitant because I don't want the attention and I don't want to give the bears/haters any material. Spread my message and help save others from the same fate or far worse. @elonmusk @wmorrill3 @aelluswamy @Tesla_AI @AIDRIVR @chazman @WholeMarsBlog @DirtyTesLa @BeardedTesla @TesLatino

Transparency is key for DOGE to succeed. Report everything. No partisan gotcha tweets. Put it all in the open.

If the people doing this, from @elonmusk on down, are honest about their intentions, they should have zero problem publishing EVERYTHING they are doing on a daily basis i absolutely want to see @Doge reduce wasteful spending. But i want the process to be transparent.. I don't want to have to guess which media reports are accurate or not. If this is the result of a detailed plan. I want to see the plan. If this is legal. I want to see the law that supports it. If there are questions about whether it is, I want to see the opposition. This isn't a shock and awe attack on foreign soil. This is a shock and awe attack on American Systems and Economics. That doesn't mean it shouldn't happen. But if it should, then it should be 100 pct transparent. If they hide anything, they are doing it wrong. If they hide anything, that means the goals is not the interest of the American People. We were promised transparency. We should see everything

You know how subscriptions just pile up? Now imagine all the subscriptions and recurring payments that piled up at the federal level. Time to hit pause on all outgoing payments.

You people are overreacting. It’s not like taxpayers are sending $8.1 million/year to Politico. Politico has a premium tier that costs an average of $34,000/year and federal agencies have used taxpayer funds to purchase 236 subscriptions.

This is exactly what is happening and what the government should be doing. I do think they could do a better with communication.

Gently, softly, calmly, let’s talk about what’s happening in DC right now. Friends, have you ever been through a ZBB process? If not, let me give you my take. So, in a corporation where expenses are out of control, you have to put the entire company through a zero based budgeting process. It is one of the most painful things that people in a company experience. You basically have to justify every. single. expense. And you also cut a bunch, and then only add back after you’ve gone through a proper ZBB cycle. The US government is going through a ZBB right now. And that is necessary because spending is out of control. The complexity is so vast that I expect it will take AI to decipher. You cannot tell me that a government that accidentally wires hundreds of millions of dollars to the Taliban has its finances in order. That signals an underlying disaster. That signals bad stewardship of resources. In fact, it is a disaster. Over the last 20 fiscal years, the US government has made ~$2.7 trillion in "improper payments," according to the US Government Accountability Office. Trillion! With a T! That financial management disaster was not caused by @elonmusk. And there is no painless way to clean it up. Elon is doing what any executive would do walking into a giant mess. You ZBB and then build back. So, I don’t believe that America is going to be on the wrong side of global right and wrong, as some are saying. I don’t believe that America is going to be permanently isolationist. I do believe that unwatched finances will get out of control in any human system, and that the GAO has been trying to ring this bell for years, and that scaled complexity requires scaled financial management. Because the US has the largest budget in the world, it will now go through the single most complex ZBB ever undertaken in the history of the world. Some states do ZBB, but it's never been done at the federal level. President Jimmy Carter tried, but the bureaucratic systems were too complex, and President Ronald Reagan abandoned the attempt. So, if there is one person in the world chosen to lead this Grand Canyon of projects, we would hope for the president to choose one of the best capital allocators on the planet. Better if that human is also one who can leverage AI and technical talent to manage the massive complexity. Anyone who has lived through a ZBB at the corporate level will tell you that it’s hell and everyone hates it. This is why I feel really bad for federal workers -- I have a lot of empathy for civil servants and people doing a great job every day for the United States. No doubt, the uncertainty is trying and stressful for many. It's an unfortunate situation. So, that's my take. I don't want to speak beyond what I know and can observe from the other side of the country. I've worked both in the private sector and the public sector -- the cultures are different. And an Elon-Musk-style culture is going to be the most hard core of them all. No doubt, it's jarring. It's gonna be a lot. But what I also know is that every time I have ever doubted Elon, I ended up being the one who was wrong.

I grew up with raw milk directly from the farm. Whenever we needed milk, we would go to the neighbors farm, scoop milk and leave money on the counter. 🥛🐮

Friday was our last day selling Grade A milk commercially. Saturday started with selling raw milk from the tank. We're back to selling like we did over 100 years ago.

Explained FSD to out 10yo and how anybody can add their vehicle to the Tesla network eventually. His response: "Isn't that an infinite money glitch when the car earns money for you?" 😆

Drove about 5h of FSD this weekend with zero interventions. This was on HW3 with 12.6.1. It's incredible. Only times I switched to manual was to check phone because FSD will warn when you take eyes off the road. Can't wait for unsupervised later this year. 💪

@immad Congratulations. We are not big into gadgets for kids/babies, but we did use the Snoo Bassinet for a few months. We rented it since newborns outgrow them quickly. Made a big difference compared to our first kid.
