Duterte Camp all out to divert our attention away from Sara Duterte Impeachment One desperate attempt after another and true to their brand of misinformation and disinformation, known personalities connected to Duterte seemed to be all out in their attempt to divert our attention away from matters on hand — holding Sara Duterte accountable for words and actions through an impeachment complaint. All these desperate attempts are enough reason for the Senate to urgently schedule the impeachment hearing, as delays on this give Sara Duterte camp enough time to influence public perception with false information. Something they successfully did back in the Duterte Administration, when they controlled the narrative to hide the inefficiencies and atrocities back then. Hours before the official reading of the impeachment in plenary, the Duterte camp has already been spreading unsubstantiated claims about rewards for each signature. If we are being honest, a signature there means risking their political standing specially in Mindanao and risking being the target of Duterte’s relentless band of social media trolls. But they did anyway — because it’s the perfect culmination of everything the House of Representatives discovered through their mandate to the people. They tried and tried all sorts of things to protect their queen, it is no longer strategic, their desperation reeks with their carpet bombing. In Filipino… “Kahit ano na lang”. The criminal case they are to file tomorrow against members of the House of Representatives is laughable, not even the greatest critics of the 2025 budget would do as such. They are just making a fool out of themselves at this point. Even the jurisprudence of the Supreme Court says that the court doesn’t concern itself or interfere with the internal legislative matter unless it’s a clear attack of property rights. It was well written in enrolled bill doctrine that the court assumes all legislative processes were followed when approved by a required number of members and signed into law. So… enjoy making fools out of yourselves. Then there’s their so-called social media martial law when a number of Duterte social media personalities’ Facebook page got suspended. The President, First Lady, the First Family and The Speaker have been on the receiving end of all the attacks for years… Why would they impose as such now? Lols As expected, the pages of the said Duterte social media personalities are now active again. Can I get an L-O-L? Photo: @iMPACTPH2019

The Hrep did not transmit the impeachment filed in December. They filed a different impeachment complained with more than 1/3 of the its members. No need for voting. No need for committee. As per the constitution, it was transmitted immediately after filed. In Filipino, magkaiba yung tatlong pinasa sa office ni SecGen vs. Sa ika-apat na impeachment complaint. Iba kasi yung mode if 1/3 ng kongreso. The constitution is clear, the Senate must act forthwith.

The question is not how long they crafted the impeachment. The questions should be 1. when it was submitted and 2. when it’s transmitted The 215 congressmen filed it the morning of Feb 5 and as mandated by provisions of the constitution. It was immediately transmitted to the Senate. Whatever process several parties have to go through to craft this as explained by legislators. That’s up to them. They are the complainants. Impeachment trial/ complaints, not bound within the legislative calendar. Magkaiba yun!

They crafted the best impeachment case there is. With articles which includes Sara Duterte’s unexplained wealth.
