Actually the best way to generate temperature in the tyres is to reach high top speed and hard braking, transferring brakes’ heat into the rim so inside the tyre. Weaving like this only marginally keeps the surface temperature constant. Kimi was mastering this technique .

What a weekend! Started normally with Kimi on Friday, then Robert had to jump in on Saturday as Kimi was +🦠. Robert only did FP3 then straight to Q and finally a very solid race with a nice overtake at the end. We missed Kimi but Robert did a good job! Onto the next race now!

teams are checking the legality of their bodywork using this Leica device. It’s a laser pointer. Once you define a reference point on the chassis, this device allows you to visualise in 3D if your floor is too low for example or if your FW flap falls beyond the legality box.

It is normal to have recovery vehicle on track during accident, it happened to me several times in my career. FIA usually inform teams to tell their drivers to leave space in accident zone, but in this occasion, I find it to be in a very dangerous place and with low visibility.
