I have 2 college students who will be required to have the vaccine to return in the fall. It will not be required of staff and faculty due to employer and union regulations. Ironic that those who pay the bills are forced into the vaccine.

My brother showed up to back to school night for his four-year-old’s pre-K class. The teacher had rainbow hair, doc Martin boots, purple sequined skirt, was wearing a tiara and had a rainbow flags all over the classroom. My nephew was immediately withdrawn.

I recite the Saint Michael prayer every morning. It’s a beautiful prayer and I feel it prepares me as I head into the day. I’ve known about Saint Michael the Archangel since I was a young girl. My mom, who converted to Catholicism as an adult, was a big fan of the Saints. ❤️

I had two 28 week babies in the NICU. Too small to latch, one with a trach that made suck-swallow-breathe difficult. Pumped for 6 mths, but without a baby on me, had to supplement with formula. The guilt was still heaped on me by the breast feeding “support” group - “try harder”.

We decided not to do it for my son in 2001. My pediatrician said it was fine either way. In the area I lived at the time I would say it was about 50/50. He has never had an infection and never felt he was different in any way.

My 4 kids have fed student loans. None are negative amortization. They make payments, the balance goes down. Not a lot if you make the minimum (nor at all if you pay interest only). But the balance doesn’t go up. What kind of loans are these? These people need a finance class.

My college roommate started at Price Club in the 80s, which went on to become Costco. Spent his entire career there moving up the ranks. He was compensated well, had great benefits and they were super supportive when he battled cancer & eventually passed. Great company.
