For the avoidance of doubt, professors create much of the confusion in the committees before matters reach the AB! That is why it helps that @karugire is not conflicted. Some of the people you think should chair the AB are still looking for jobs, if you understand what I mean.

As long as people who muddle up documents, vulgarise scores at job interviews, seek to sell/ frustrate some appointments, and their god parents remain in the system, even the most decorated professor from the last family in Uganda wouldn't succeed. I'M IN A POSITION TO KNOW SO.

When peer-reviewed publications remain hidden (an oxymoron), documents that should be hidden end up getting published! Egg-chicken...

Habibi, @Makerere has NOT had a substantive Deputy Vice-Chancellor Finance & Admin for 9 damn years now! The last substantive occupant of that office was @ProfNawangwe in 2016! Yet, that's the THIRD most important position in the university. It oversees human resource management, recruitment, money/expenditure etc. After Nawangwe, the position was briefly held by Professor William Bazeyo in acting capacity. He was later forced out for lack of - ahem! - academic qualifications! Since then, Professor Henry Alinaitwe has held the position again, in acting capacity! It is important to note that, people appointed in acting capacity don't go through the rigours of such appointment at Senate and other officers and, they are behold to their godfathers - the people that get and keep them in these positions, like Nawangwe! Two, the University Human Resource policy provides for a MAXIMUM of 12 months in acting capacity. So, the university management is breaking its own policy to keep cadres and yes-men in these positions. What’s more, there are many - tens, maybe hundreds - of qualified people for these positions at the university. Actually, just last year the senate recommended someone to take up the position, and the university council that whose mandate it is to appoint them, has not done so! Begs the question, what is about this position that the cabal at Makerere desperately wants to keep to themselves?! #MakerereUniversityExhibition

@LukeKiwanuka @MathiasSsemanda @AAgather In Luganda, the saying is that "ofuyila ndiga muleele!" Loosely translated, you can wake up a person who is sleeping but not one who is pretending to be sleeping. @LukeKiwanuka your man doesn't understand the letters, and he is not allowed to understand them. Strange but true.

@AAgather it shouldn't be difficult for you to realise that, at the core of this particular matter, the issue is that @MathiasSsemanda manifestly lacks the ability to read the letter from the staff and the reply they received. His reply would be funny if it weren't pitiable.

@AAgather Let's stick to the facts, @AAgather. Mr. Jackson Byabakama was appointed by the staff associations as support staff representative to the Council. The staff associations, who are responsible for recalling Mr. Byamukama, have remained silent and taken no action.…

@MurangiraGord @SpireJim @AgoraCFR If the research for your post were submitted for review, it'd be rejected for fraud & lack of logic. After dropping out of the PhD you started with me in 07, you should have returned to study logic, not gone to sweep around people who fear peer review. But how did we sink so low!

@ron4speed @AAgather The problem with corrupt people like you is that they think we are all corrupt like them. The letter was received by the office of the Dean and the Office of the College Principal, and they stamped it received on the same date. Why do you think I manipulated both?

The letter asking me to show cause needed 8 days to reach me, but other things didn't. But it's quite an amount to digest for now. Shortly, I'll show evidence that the prof. replaced me as Dean before the ink interdicting me dried. The evidence I wasn't allowed to show too.
