After Jalen Williams went down with a minor injury to begin Game 3 of OKC vs NOP, Cason Wallace was immediately subbed into the game and made an immense impact in his first 7 minutes on court. Here's a thread of some of Cason's biggest impact play from this stint.

Here's a friendly reminder that Scoot Henderson is an 18 year old point guard averaging 20-5-6 in the G-league, who also happens to have an incredibly rare mixture of top 5 athleticism in the class and super, super high feel for the game.

The ultimate Scoot Henderson misconception: his outside shooting percentage. Scoot shot 22/68 from 3 in the actual game sample (G-League regular season + showcase) bumping his percentage up to 32.4%. He's not a great shooter, but the 27.5% number is dishonest.

I’m not saying Scoot won’t improve his perimeter shot, but the guy shot 27.5 percent from 3 in the G-League. I’d say that qualifies as a non-shooter from deep as of now.

Jarace Walker is ridiculously explosive. First he is able to explode off of that back foot incredibly quickly to beat his poorly set defender with a rip, then he gets up with essentially no load time whatsoever for the powerful two hand dunk. He's a special, special prospect.

Jalen Green is ridiculous. He negative steps off the catch to attack the closeout, shows the crazy downhill burst, and then uses his exceptional mid air body control to finish through Myles Turner. The way he stays under control while absorbing the contact from Turner is wild.

Leonard Miller, funky movement skill king GLI runs him in horns sets a lot, which I like for his development. The high post reps allow for him to effectively use his movement skills (closed stance face ups/half spin pivots, etc...) to get downhill to make plays and decisions.

On his very first possession, Cason is the playmaking hub of this rip DHO set for SGA. However, Cason keeps the ball after Herb navigates the screen well and takes a mid-range jumper. It ends up not falling, but it was important for Cason to establish himself as a scoring threat.

St Bonaventure freshman wing Yann Farell has had an underrated beginning to this season. He's currently averaging 10 PTS and 8 REB as a starter, and he's shooting 39% from 3 on 13 3PA/100. Defensively, he's an active rotator, has good hands, long arms, and solid footwork.

This is an absolutely perfect fit for both sides. SDSU relies a lot on disciplined helpside defense, and Compton will be able to excel in this role with his athleticism, length, and instincts. Compton has NBA potential and SDSU can help him get there.

Hoping to see Syracuse target ST Johns freshman transfer AJ Storr. He could provide Syracuse with second side shot creation and shooting from the wings that the team lacked at times this past year. His touch from all three levels is incredibly impressive.

Alex Karaban deserves more respect in NBA prospect convos. He may not declare this year, but he could easily go first round in 2024 if he improves his footspeed on defense. His offense is already pro ready imo.

Denver Nuggets | Wide Curl Great usage of the screen from MPJ allows Gordon to play around the dunkers spot off the roll as KAT has to help on the drive.

Miami Heat | Wide STS Cross Brush Post Split Curl Not sure on the exact name of this one so correct me if I'm wrong. Either way, this is an excellent ATO as Pritchard and Holiday miscommunicated after Pritchard scram switches off Adebayo.

Jones' outside jumper has been improving as well, as he jumped 4 percentage points from his freshman to sophomore seasons. Jones is able to shoot off the catch and off the dribble (between 37 and 38% on both), and an uptick in volume could really take his game to the next level.

Here is another set they run called "Delay High Zoom". This is a quick set that does an excellent job of getting players moving downhill, one that Drake would consistently get good looks from.

As for his on ball game, Skillings has shown plenty of flashes of on ball creation. He is already a good straight line athlete with high level processing skills and touch. We've seen some good moments from his handle, but I think he is currently best playing off of a creator.

Incredible two-way sequence from new Pitt transfer wing Zack Austin. His mixture of dunks (39), blocks (7.7% block rate, 2.1 per game), and attempted 3s (11.3 3pa/100) was unmatched by any player in all of college basketball last year. Intriguing long term prospect in the ACC.
