Stephen A:
Who’s covered the WNBA more than this show?
Monica McNutt:
Respectively, you could’ve been talking about the WNBA 3 years ago with all your platforms.
Stephen A:
😳

I am so sick of arguing about people’s opinion on marketing the WNBA, from people who don’t work in marketing.
Everything isn’t about capitalism or money or getting paid. Integrity ≠ money.
All Shannon and SAS seem to understand is attention. It’s pitiful.

Testimony from Texas Department of Public Safety director Steve McCraw on the Uvalde massacre:
“The on-scene commander chose to put the lives of officers before the lives of children. The officers had weapons, the children had none.”
The problem with Kanye is that he has too much money & has achieved so much commercially to actually accept criticism.
He doesn’t think he needs help.
He creates a “church” and makes 2 “Gospel” albums and thinks he can now tell DL Hughley what God thinks of him.

@washingtonpost
Sammy Watkins’ future in the NFL is dependent on Lamar playing in the playoffs.
Of course he’d say this.
He even admitted he’s being selfish lol
@TrueBucksFan78
Monica’s point is: then don’t have such harsh opinions on the character
of professionals you haven’t covered.
This is a case of a few players, who generally want smoke with everyone, also wanting smoke with Caitlin.
But if you don’t cover the other players, you wouldn’t know.
@itsgonzo1
Cmon on man….
You might not have been watching, but it wasn’t bad basketball.
They are and have been professionals. Caitlin’s arrival doesn’t suddenly raise anyone’s level.
Once again, instead of focusing on the storylines & games in the actual WNBA— yall choose to center the conversation around Caitlin.
@FirstTake
That doesn’t promote the league, that simply promotes Caitlin Clark.
It’s all very disingenuous.

@fbgchase
You don’t watch the games.
They give the ball to Gus Edwards inside the 10 to rack up the TD numbers.
But who is getting them down there??
Lamar.
@EvannReece
@JadaGomez
@BlackYouthProj
Exactly. Like the day after it happened she literally told everyone to stop talking and speculating and that she would talk when she’s ready. Today, she was ready.
And she still never said it was him. We can guess that it was, but 🤷🏽♂️
Either way the jokes about it were awful.
@echavis
They’ve talked about marketing the league as a whole. Not marketing one player at the expense of everyone else.
I want TV personalities to market the sport by talking about the play or league— not debating who the sport should be marketing. It’s an asinine conversation.
@RexChapman
Oh so THATS how it works.
The police chiefs do whatever they want in-town, and when they get pulled over they flash a badge and promise their cops a “get out of jail free card” if they happen to idk…assault or kill anyone they weren’t supposed to.
@TrueBucksFan78
Could be. But more just realizing that while Chennedy is a good player, she has sum Draymond in her.
She’s not afraid to bump someone if she feels slighted. Nothing personal to Caitlin but she can’t shove or chirp every player.
Stephen A doesn’t get that bcuz he doesn’t watch
@saylesssavage
@itszaeok
I just got COVID 2 weeks ago. I’m otherwise a healthy and fit 36 year old.
Him getting COVID has nothing to do with his “ability to avoid it”.
COVID rates are up, nationwide.

You’re saying Lamar should have more passing TDs. When Gus has 12 TDs thanks to Lamar getting them inside the 5 yard line.
U specifically want Lamar to throw TDs from outside of Goal to go situations to validate what exactly?
@CorncobbMcGee
That’s just not true. You might have not seen an interest in watching, but the level of the players didn’t suddenly change when Caitlin entered the league.
It’s good now and had been good throughout its existence.
@bobbybaltimoree
He’s currently in jail. So he watched the game from his cell. But hopes to be out and able to watch Lamar play in the Super Bowl in person.
