Can #neuromodulation improve #PTSD when meds and therapy are not enough? Our experience using @NeuroPace to detect and treat brain activity related to trauma reminders is out today. The ongoing trial is in close collab with @SuthanaLab and funded by @NIH @NIMHgov @NINDStrials
New lab paper out today 🥳 Rare amygdala iEEG activity recorded in two patients with treatment-resistant PTSD & used to trigger closed-loop stimulation therapy over 1 yr -> significant patient improvement
