Rescued a beautiful gentle giant of a dog yesterday that had been abandoned with no food or water. Sounds simple but having no legal powers it took hours to organise a vet and police officers to assist. All worth it in the end. Dog rescued & went to bed with a full belly ❤️🐶

Rescued Max the Springer today. Owner not meeting his needs. Not been walked for over a year. Such a lovely lad. People often ask ‘how do you do your job’. Seeing how wonderfully excited he was the moment his paws touched grass, seeing that tail wag like crazy. That’s why 👌❤️

You may remember Ben who I rescued 4 years ago aged 16. He was in quite a bad way, particularly a chronic flea issue which left him suffering with anaemia. His prognosis wasn’t great so we found a fantastic fosterer to give him a good ‘final few months’ He’s just turned 20!🐶🧁🥰

Rescued a dog yesterday, she weighed half of what she should. Last night I got her somewhere safe and gave her a bowl of food which vanished quickly. She got to sleep on a clean comfy bed with a full tummy. It was a good day! Ongoing job so will update further when I can❤️🐶

Was saddened to hear from Timmy’s owner today that he passed away this morning. But looking back to when I rescued him in Oct ‘16 when he was SIXTEEN I would never have dreamt he’d have 2 and a half years living the good life. The message ended ‘thank you for giving him to us’ 😍

The big beautiful soul that is Flint passed away yesterday. I Rescued him from cruel badger baiters over 4 years ago and he found love & a home with the best family. Had a bed in every room of the house and was tucked in every night. He went on Family holidays. Rest easy Boy💔😭

I just saw a mum walking with her young son. She bent down, picking something up off the ground and then placed it carefully into a garden. It was a snail and I’m so glad that I witnessed it. It literally costs nothing to be kind. A good motto for today 🐌❤️👍
