@bouldie Yeah pretty much my thoughts too - if we can't regenerate a city centre that has strong industrial heritage, two unis, easy transport links to major cities, then you kinda have to wonder where we could. Seems ripe for it!

@samiddx Oh I've more than my fair share of criticism for Stoke council but this is definitely a "central Government needs to stump up the cash" issue. All that talk of 'red wall' levelling up and... very little to show for it
