Stenhousemuir chairman invited clubs to participate. We felt it would be politicised and given that he has no decision making powers in Scotland, we didn’t take part. That was a club decision. I personally wouldn’t want to be on the same zoom call as a Tory.

Hard of thinking Sandy? Every sector is struggling to get staff. Another brexit benefit. You lot tweeting imaginary positives is quite disgusting
Could not be prouder of this club. From the 3000 meals provided during Covid to this. We do community. This is part of who we are. Get involved. Anyone can support their dads club or their tradition. None of that’s real. This is your town. Your people. Your family. Just do it.

Fab day at parkhead. Great result. Last game as CEO and a Director of Livingston. Time to get some new investment and talent into the club. If the town and fans are serious about being a top flight club then it’s time to move forward. It’s been a smile and I’ve loved every minute
Living within our means. No overdraft, no new loans during this time and a back room team that work for each other and respect the manager and coach. Oh and hard work, which brings its own luck.
My sons both have children and it all seemed very normal when their partners were in Labour. But my daughter had her first baby this morning. It’s fucking terrifying when your girl is having a baby. Been the longest weeks of my life. But she’s fine and so is the baby.

so… when St Mirren scored the second goal, I was so raging about the dubiousness of the foul and so focussed on the St Mirren fans running onto the pitch and the injury that I didn’t register that it was disallowed. I left at 90 mins thinking we had lost.
Only team in Scotland doing in house testing. Added to the squad. Have a player that is wanted by a host of top clubs and as usual it’s all about the park.

Will Livingston keep hold of striker Lyndon Dykes?

Forgot I had a zoom interview with stv this afternoon. Just about to go on and realised I had a track suit top on. Rocking the football casual look. Grabbed my sons work jacket and wore that . It’s a size small. Couldn’t fecking breathe for most of the interview
@sheelaghmclaren
A remarkable guy. It’s a genuine joy to work alongside him. One of the most honest and straightforward people I have ever been involved with. Looking forward to watching this
Some result for Livingston yesterday. Watched in the pub in Aberfeldy at my youngest boys stag weekend. I really need to miss more games. Every one I missed this season we have won. Magnificent
I was at Walter Smiths memorial service yesterday representing Livingston FC. I am not a rangers fan but was very moved by the humility, kindness and professionalism of the man. I didn’t know him other than to say hello to, but I was so impressed by the love on display from guys
What is there to say? Two poor teams who looked nervous. If I had been premier or betfred I would be delighted never to sponsor again. We gave away a soft goal and they defended like really tall guys. Subs made us look like we threatened but too many high balls. STILL PROUD

Mon the livi. I’m at the chamber of conference dinner. Missed the fecking game. Of course I watched it on phone. But nonetheless. Third big game I’ve missed that we won.
New tactics
This weekend. BBC Radio 4 Profile which in the past has featured; Kamala Harris, Professor Sarah Gilbert, Marcus Rashford, Russell T Davies amongst others, has Livingston Manager David Martindale. Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 5.40pm
On a business call tonight. The theme was community. Empty kitchens which was based in our venue Dr Bells Baths has fed over 400000 people (four hundred thousand) meals in the pandemic. And Livingston FC over 4000. We have better stats than track and trace and it’s voluntary.
@LiviFCOfficial
Stunning levels of stupidity on display here. It’s Scotland in January. Been snowing raining and freezing for two weeks now. I’m sure we will weather the storm.
🏆| What’s better than one award?!
Two awards of course and Livingston FC is absolutely thrilled, this time, to announce that David Martindale has been named as the Scottish Premiership Manager of the Month for January 2021.

Okay so it’s a stream but it’s in a pub and all that. Tune in. Will play requests unless they are too hard in which case I will pretend im a music snob and mock you. Sunday 1912 Bathgate at 7pm
Eat out to help out is a great idea. What’s a better idea is to use any savings to donate to local foodbanks who the government don’t fund. This isn’t a philanthropic gesture on their part. They want the economy back. Couldn’t care less about hunger and poverty. Thank you.
🆕| Manager David Martindale has decided to donate his Manager of the Month award for December to be raffled in aid of local mental health charity,

Raffle tickets are available for £5 each.

Was relentlessly harassed here last night by fuckwitts with one word names and photos of shoes and random items rather than their faces after posting negative about Boris exploiting Capt Tom. Need more human beings following me to jump in and help. Follows welcome from liberals
Im in Cambridge for work. Everywhere I have been is not enforcing taking details from customers. Track and trace isn’t working because no one is taking responsibility. In Scotland I have been asked every time and have felt safe when eating out or having a drink.
@djonesbutchers
To be fair she has created such an intimidating country for refugees and immigrants that she probably feels safer in the outfit. Wouldn’t want deported accidentally. Utter horror of a person
Petrol crisis. We were in lockdown and no one used the car for months. Surely there was some learning there? The stupidity of grown adults in the UK is astounding. Where’s the bike and the Lycra outfit you bought? It’s possible to work from home. You remember this right? Arses
Due to the overwhelming response to our ticket giveaway for the game with Ross County next week, we've increased the free ticket allocation from 2,000 to 3,600.
With that said though, with that demand having been so high, the full 3,600 have now been requested and allocated.
Delighted fans coming back. No question the government did the right thing in refusing crowds based on available evidence at the time. It’s so good that boosters have worked. Appreciate the smart decision making. See you all Tuesday.
Awesome behaviour from the departing Celtic fans today. We were a disgrace, deserved to be relegated and drug dealers. The last comment from a fat guy with a toddler.
The Christmas Covid lifting of restrictions isn’t the government telling you what to do. It’s a guideline and for each person to determine what’s the smartest thing to do for their own family circumstances. Be smart. Assess the risk and be faithful to your chosen bubble.
@LiviNation
To be fair we make it up as we go along. We have had a bit of luck, brilliant fans who stepped up with season tickets and the operating fund and DM who does the work of three people and his team. Today was awesome
The incident in Kilmarnock today. There are way too many of these guys. See them at children’s hearings and you can feel the tension from the mum and kids. Angry possessive men are fucking toxic and it should be on a par with child abuse. But we seem to accept it. Shameful
If Brexit were a person, who would they be? I'll start... Jimmy Saville - loved by the establishment and the gullible. Defended and protected by the BBC for their own ends. Your turn....

the David interviewing David chat was a wee bit amusing but having invested a huge amount of time and money into the club it’s a bit of a pisstake. Im the majority shareholder and I’m open to discussing on the show. Alan Preston is wrong

Thank you so much Hannah. Appreciate all of the time and energy you give to the club. Hopefully this helps the argument that it’s the right thing to do
Max. My 2.1/2 year old grandson. He is utterly fearless. Wee bit like his da. The hours I spent in A&E I cannot begin to tell you. Mostly with Jonathan. Thank feck he has a daughter.
If your football team is about what you hate and what you think you believe in, rather than about joy and being part of something bigger than you. Then maybe you need to rethink your allegiances and where they came from. That same mentality is what’s caused Trump and Brexit
That's a logical explanation. The hard of thinking in Scottish Football who should be wowed that a team with the lowest fan base and lowest budget still keep keeping on. In any other country the underdog is lauded. In Scottish football its all about being blinded by loyalty
For all the 'all weather pitch' chat, the biggest problem is the actual location of the stadium. In a wee valley with a section of the pitch that gets no sunshine at all. It's regularly 3 degrees colder at the stadium than it is a few miles away in Bathgate.
@tedermeatballs
I spent ten minutes on the companies house website and was able to determine he was a Walter Mitty character. 23 companies he had been a director of were in administration. The Scottish press could have done the same at any time but were manipulated by pleasing the masses anf JT
I get the split makes for more exciting football. But a team in bottom six achieving more points than the team finishing fourth should be addressed? On points if Livingston win today they should be in fourth. If points on final day decided the finishing positions SPFL improves
Missed the livi game yesterday as moved house on Friday. Bathgate no more as now living in Stockbridge. Will miss Jardine Place. So many happy memories. But looking forward to future. Getting the train to Bathgate for a night out will be a smile.
This time last year there were very real fears many clubs wouldn’t survive the pandemic. Thanks to benefactors, the huge concession from Sky that allows clubs to stream games and of course the massive uptake of season tickets it looks hopeful
If you had planned to get married in the next 3 months and have been let down by your venue, get in touch today. We still have some availability, and can offer you a fantastic deal to cushion the blow for you.
Strict liability was not the worst idea for football. Old firm fans behaviour is shocking really. Bottles on the park tonight. 3 point deduction would force the clubs to identify and ban the bams
I didn’t realise just how much I miss playing gigs till tonight when I’m playing along to songs I barely know in the Musicals the greatest show on the telly. Hanna joining in as she’s a teenage diva who can sing way better than I play guitar.

Mate I was on the piss last night. Didn’t realise I was on call for emergency plumbing. Given we don’t have a home game this morning
