The greatest lesson I ever learned about dealing with pressure… Came from a, Landscaper??? One of my best friends, college teammate and roommate once sent our team a message before we played one of the biggest series of the season The message still sticks with me today: “Any time you feel pressure, think about the pressure the guy sitting in a foxhole in the Middle East feels. Not knowing if he’s going to make it home, thousands of miles away from everything he’s fighting for.” Powerful He now runs a very successful landscaping company, but has seen firsthand what pressure actually looks like in real life Not something made up when you’re playing a game Pressure isn’t hitting a home run down one in the ninth It’s making sure you can still work to support your family and put food on the table Or a roof over your head But Pressure means you care. Pressure means it MEANS something to you It doesn’t matter how minuscule the task or purpose. But it usually ties back to something bigger than whatever is happening in that moment: -you’re nervous during the big at bat because if you fail the team will lose, you’ll think about it for days/weeks/years, your coaches will lose faith in you, and your parents will be disappointed -youre nervous to talk to the beautiful girl because you’ve gotten rejected in the past and your group of friends clowned you for it and made it personal -you want your business to be successful because everyone told you in high school that you would be a failure and not amount to anything. THAT is why you feel that pressure. But how bad are those things in retrospect? What if the scenario flips? Really, your personal problems pale in comparison to the person mining for cobalt to put in the phone that you’re reading THIS TWEET on. They’re making 20 cents a day to feed their entire family. You just couldn’t get a hit today playing a GAME Any high leverage situation is a blessing for you to showcase your skillset Not a chore So enjoy the moment Smile and laugh in those pressure situations Apollo Ohno, one of the greatest speedskaters in Olympic History, would YAWN before big races Showcasing his relaxed approach to big moments It’s just another day at the office Not life or death Relish the moment. Cherish it. Who knows Things just might work out. And then you party Hope you enjoyed this! If you did, throw this a Retweet and make sure you follow me!

REBOUND THROUGH THE RANGE. Muscles need to lengthen before they can shorten. Bringing them through a full range will give you the best opportunity to get the most out of them when it’s time to contract. More room to contract? More room to accelerate and produce force. Relax into a spot and then pull (or rebound) out of it.

I’m a baseball coach. I also have a vested interest in creating a world for myself and my future family that allows for free speech, movement, health, wellness, nutrition, religion and work to be at the forefront of my core values. I will not stop making an effort to deny claims that we can be “saved” by distractions or disgusting corporate action. We cannot, and must make a conceited effort to forge our own path. As my family grows around me, I will do everything I can to become the ethos of the existence I want created for generations to come. Positive, needle moving action will always be the answer. There is no reason a perfectly healthy child or HUMAN for that matter should need processed garbage and SSRIs to become prosperous, happy and fulfilled. The shift is happening. Opposing ideas are always met with skepticism at the start until the bold “claims” become rooted in fact.

"Should" is going to come up in life with anything I "should" be richer. I "should" be in better shape. I "should" have a hotter gf/wife. The hardest thing we have to do is be real with ourselves and understand why we don't actually have these things. What are the things missing from our current process that prevent us from getting those?

Crazy how all it really comes down to is: -sleeping for 8+ hours (bed and wake times the same every day) -eating a nutrient dense, Whole Foods diet. -cutting out or limiting stimulant intake -having purposeful work or connection -gratitude, prayer and love Forget mechanics, training methodology, tech etc. You do these for a month straight you can’t fail.
