For the last 3.5 years – the fake meat giant @impossiblefoods has been suing my company @impossiblehq (est 2010) trying to cancel our trademarks. After their first attempt was thrown out, they doubled down & now are suing me (personally) as well. Here's what's going on 👇🏼

Imagine screwing up a $6B donation this bad.
World's richest man offers $6billion right away if World Food Program shows accounting of how they would use it. Head of WFP gives lame-ass response showing they probably have no plan. They could've easily got an intern to outline a rough plan, then add details along the way.

The most selfless thing you can do for:. * you.* your family.* your country.* [insert any other group you care about]. is to get down to a reasonable weight and put on lean muscle mass.
This should be required for all health related statics. 42.4% of America is obese. Another 31.8% is overweight. Incredible.

@Cernovich "act alone, solve equations, analyse a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects." – Robert Heinlein.(2/2). This always seemed like a good list to me.

When you find very smart, but completely different people coming to similar conclusions via very different methods, it might mean there’s something there:. @joerogan .@jordanbpeterson .@jockowillink .@benshapiro .@SamHarrisOrg .@tferriss .@RubinReport .@EricRWeinstein.

If your new years resolution is "get in shape" after time off, you're better off skipping the annual January gym zoo chaos and focusing on 1) giving up liquid calories and 2) going on walks. Build those habits and then add the gym when it clears out in February.
New Years coming up. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE A PERSONAL TRAINER AT A COMMERCIAL GYM. Personal trainers overall are a menace. I have to keep my eyes down and avoid watching the stuff being done to people. Having old / untrained people doing "HIIT" and Bosu. It's injury central.

Fixed it for you @Apple
This Apple ad is what happens when you try to be “edgy” with no consideration for strategy. Consider first principles:. 1) Apple is a brand built on giving people a sense of inspiration and joy (eg, the colorful 2000s iPod ads). 2) Their target audience is consumers who are.

@Cernovich "A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate. ".(1/2).

I forget who said it, but someone mentioned we should start calling CNN anchors content creators. Kind of hilarious to imagine. "Brian Stelter is my favorite content creator" - said nobody ever.
Even with a major war ongoing, the continued disappearance of MSNBC and CNN's audience is extreme and rapid. The number of viewers under 55 watching MSBNC's prime-time shows is barely 100k or less. These are mid-level YouTube numbers.

@0xgaut Okay, how about running around a track as many times as possible from sunrise to sundown on the longest day of the year?

Blueberries are the best fruit and it's not even close.
I suggest eating 1-2 servings of blueberries a day. They are a “superfood”. They have flavonoids called anthocyanidins, these are potent antioxidants & anti-inflammatory. This helps protect brain cells from damage & improves cognition, motor control & enhance neuroplasticity.

I think @EdLatimore said this first, but. "Lots of people say they're competitive. But most people don't really like to compete. They like to win.". Being competitive is a skill. Winning is an outcome.

Twitter's biggest product misstep was not making it easy for people to learn how to easily clean up their feed and instead tried to do it for them.
Twitter is great bc if you don’t like people you can unfollow, mute, block its your choice. Where they failed is when they unilaterally decided there were people no one should listen to. Hopefully @elonmusk fixes this.

The amount of pro athletes who diet consists of "candy" will make you rethink everything you've ever thought about "talent".
There’s an interview with an nba trainer said he devoted every waking hour into basketball & training in college but couldn’t make it professionally. When he joined the nba as a trainer he learned that some of the best players eat complete shit & work out like twice a month.

Turns out:. Sugar is bad. Fasting is borderline magical. Carbs are useful when training but you probably don’t need to eat them constantly if you watch Netflix all day. 🤷🏼♂️.
I'm reading @drjasonfung's book The Diabetes Code, which is excellent. His analysis cuts to the heart of what diabetes is and how to cure it with fasting and low carb. He puts mainstream medicine to shame.

Known about @kneesovertoesg for 2+ years now. Finally got sick of the knee issue being an issue and decided to go HAM on the exercises about a month ago. 4-5 weeks later. Most of the pain is gone. Absolutely Infuriating.

Day 1 - Fever sweats + fatigue.Day 2 - Body Aches (bad).Day 3 - Body Aches (less bad).Day 4-6 - Head cold / allergy style symptoms. 6+ - Bored waiting out quarantine. Weirdest part was the different symptoms changing throughout the experience (haven't experienced that before).

I can’t believe it took me this long to find out about this, but this 10 minute track will fix that annoying iPhone bug where “that one track that starts with “A”” playing every time you plug your phone into your car. Gamechanger. via @samir.

This photo from the certified badass @nimsdai ruined the entire appeal of Everest for me. The Sherpas are the real athletes of the trip. Everyone else is along for the ride.
50-100K. I’ve been reading The Climb. Summiting Everest is big money and most people have no business going there, they endanger the lives of others, don’t carry their own supplies, and use oxygen as they don’t have the conditioning or stamina needed.

Really surprised (or not) that they didn't even include some obvious potential changes in the past years that could cause this including:. Lack of proper nutrition (too much sugar). Explosion of social media / phone usage. Limited access to the outdoors.

Spent the week with my cousin who works in a no-name midwest town and taught himself a [redacted] trade 2 years ago. - married w/ 3 kids.- great income : lifestyle ratio.- started a homestead .- 6 acres, several cows, chickens.- at home he’s actually “off” (underrated) .- turns.
Yes this is what you should teach them as an OPTION. Smart people get bored, then figure stuff out, then create huge companies. Why tell kids to aspire to be a lawyer - high suicide rate. My doctor friends say they don’t want kids to be MDs. “White collar” ain’t all that.

I always say "figure out how to run 5 miles". If you can run 5 miles, you can run 10 (it's only 2x). Even a marathon is only that 5 miles, 5x. If you only can run 1 mile, a marathon is 26x!. Run 5 miles, you can run forever. Disclaimer: I run ultramarathons and I hate running.
I don't think running is the best exercise for any physical attributes. The real value is the mental strength required to do 5 miles. Runners don't think about this, but consider the mental and emotional effort required to even run 2 miles. ESPECIALLY without music.

Would be interesting to do a SIMS-like civilization version of the spider-drug experiment. Take groups of people, allow them to use a specific drug and see what they build.
Western civilization was built on nicotine, and while I don’t drink alcohol, it’s clear you can have well ordered Western society with beer and wine. We tried weed and saw the results. Your own brain is FRIED.

Crazy how people (news companies) will just use a photo (and profit off it) w/out credit or paying licensing fees. Here's the guy that took the famous Everest traffic photo going around lately 👇🏼.
Sad that agencies are using my photo without credit or sign of payment.Risked my life to get it & took my gloves off in freezing cold to take this. It’s UNFAIR & UNPROFESSIONAL for these big agencies to use it without asking when they know #ProjectPossible is short of funding.

When you realize your problems aren’t unique you realize the solutions don’t have to be either. You can just change things if you really want to.
This line in the Rich Roll autobiography . ☠️ ☠️☠️. "You're what I call terminally unique. You think you're special. Your problems remarkable and singular. People like you die. But you're just a garden-variety alcoholic. Nothing more, nothing less.”
