@PaulZeise @MattEdwards Fair that his line sucked at end I left out most critical aspect Harbaugh is light years better than Zac

@PaulZeise @MattEdwards Herbert had a superior line and infinitely superior defense. It’s not all about wide receivers in the NFL

@JoeGoodberry @MoEgger Lot of heat from Dehner and Goldsmith this week making case for trading Trey now. If we had league average talent/production around them I’d agree. But they’ve blown it they have to bite bullet on something that won’t look good in 2-3 years, but wins in shorter term

@pauldehnerjr If they had an average pass rush unit I’d say trade. They are backed into corner because of how badly they’ve built around him, you have to overpay him

@zimwhodey @KHM4PMS Carson Palmer had some of this. He sure did in 2005 and 2006. But by time he tapped out in 2010 he wasn’t that guy anymore and hadn’t been for a long time.

@DrewGarrison Counter to myself is if you have decent defense, you are playing with leads, making other guy 1 dimensional. Show me a sharpe ratio for EPA on running and passing plays. Suspect that’ll point to my original argument

@Jaminrawk @liveforball @pauldehnerjr Can’t completely refute that, but will say they were Super Bowl team before and they were a Super Bowl team after (Mahomes and Reid what drives). You have a great player that fits. No guarantee you find another one that fits. Chiefs drafted incredibly well, our team hasn’t

@Jaminrawk @liveforball @pauldehnerjr I used to believe this Then I realized pay great players regardless and figure out the rest New D coordinator, cut multiple guys, make smaller attempts in free agency, draft well I viable defense with that offense (with new guards) has this team in title hunt

@JimmyGuappolo @JoeGoodberry Good news is my read of Duke’s quotes included a strong acknowledgment of that and an indication that they are going to make painful cuts to those older guys that are declining in order to pay their performers. Will they pay what they want? To be seen.

@JimmyGuappolo @JoeGoodberry It’s also somewhat toxic…I think a lot of this season was stained by Tee, Jamar and Trey all getting shafted in offseason. Counter is they all played amazing (while out there). But I think that negative energy is real and not good for team

@zimwhodey @2RabbitYT @KHM4PMS I see a guy that is too slow now, and I don’t think it’s an accident that we had no answer for mobile quarterbacks. That unit needs to be more athletic

@_TaylorCornell @whodatchemist They can’t run when the other team suspects run. Manifests most obviously as short yardage weakness

@MVPBurrowBurner @Bengals @CoachAlGolden I mean, they went 9-8 and just fired over half the staff and will actually cut a bunch of players. Wouldn’t say they are accepting that as the standard
