@Srirachachau Yep, Lynch said that in Lynch on Lynch - he was *really* annoyed at the idea it was exploitative to cast a disabled actor. As you say, he really liked Richard Pryor, so cast him. It was a dick move by DFW to make that accusation. I actually don’t love his Lost Highway essay.
