Thanks for having me! We show that different types of generalist human capital of managers affect their foresight in different ways, and especially in times of uncertainty. We measure foresight as managers' insider trading activity prior to their firm's product announcements
New research suggests managers with diverse career experience (industry generalists) have better foresight than specialists! According to @jkmawdsley -@HECParis-, it translates to stronger long-term performance for their firms @esade #EEIresearchSeminars π
