Starmer called Labour "The party of Remain" and pushed a second ref policy which cost them about 90 seats. He then imposed a three line whip to vote through Johnson’s Brexit deal, and now refuses to even talk about Brexit. If that's not a red flag, I don't know what is.

Much as I've realised that belonging to a political party isn't for me, I'm proud that I joined up for Corbyn's Labour. It was a special, unique moment in UK politics when the opportunity was briefly there to actually change things and I'm glad I participated.

My opinion continues to be that Corbyn's left wing radicalism was overstated, whereas Starmer's right wing authoritarianism is understated. We passed up two possible moderate Labour PMs only to get a radical Tory PM in a red rosette.

It makes no sense for the "suspended" Labour MPs to seek a return to Labour. They have won the argument, they have five years in Parliament, and Starmer wouldn't allow them to stand for Labour in 2029 anyway. They are far more powerful as independents, and more should join them.

The claim that the Al Ahli hospital blast was a rocket is laughable. It is post-truth absurdity. If that narrative sticks, it will be by far the greatest lie Israel has ever got away with. If an Islamist group had firepower like that, Israel would have been destroyed years ago.
