Experimented some more with ways to create rocks in Blender and came up with this: Create cube, subdivide mesh, extrude selections on each side (left), subdivide, displace w/color cloud texture multiple times, decimate, subdivide (to round edges), decimate to desired tris. #b3d

🔊⬆ for this #ScreenshotSaturday I was working on adding some ambient sounds like machinery thumps but thought it might be weird if they were out of sync with the music, so I set up a system for syncing ambient sounds to the music BPM! Track by @Carsonmusic1 . #GodotEngine

@thecarr66639092 @BQuilty You're missing the point. The point isn't to take 4 tests per day. That was just to demonstrate. The point is to take the test as close as possible to social gatherings, because if you take it like half a day prior, it can show up negative when you're positive.

I wasn't really content with Qodot or other solutions, so I've been writing an importer that directly converts compiled Quake BSP files into meshes for #Godot 4 to use with KOOK. This first shot might look familiar. Also loads much more complex maps. #ScreenshotSaturday

I just want to say that @R0dZill4 is a legend. I suggested adding the ability to paint normals relative to the camera, so it would be possible to create a painterly aesthetic with lighting (as well as fix artifacts), and like a day later I was able to do this. #MaterialMaker

Sometimes I get caught up on little details, like taking the camera velocity into account when orienting particles. Also tweaked particle distribution and allowed for particle counts to be adjusted on the fly so they can scale based on velocity. #ScreenshotSaturday #GodotEngine

When making shotgun in KOOK gib enemies, I had to allow the dead corpse to be hit (a single pellet's damage wasn't enough to hit the gib threshold), and apparently disabling the collision on the frame of the gib didn't stop the other pellets from also gibbing.

Interaction triggers in Fist of the Forgotten now have paths that can be followed (complete with acceleration and triggers along the path to play animations, etc), so I can have the character run into buildings and other things like that. #ScreenshotSaturday #GodotEngine

I wanted the opening cutscene in Fist of the Forgotten to have a painterly look, so in addition to the shader on the materials, I created a tool in #GodotEngine to easily draw 3D brush strokes to soften hard edges and such. Even has undo! #ScreenshotSaturday

Added a proposal for adding custom light occlusion shaders in Godot, this is requested a lot by users that work with PBR realistic materials that use displacement maps, as it would allow them to have proper shadows in the displacement. Feedback welcome!
