So so happy to see this paper led by @janethlessmann out in @PNASNews: We use data on đ° from most Latin American countries đ to explore how funding deficits affect #Protectedareas' #impact on forest loss at the network and site level respectively

But the one that probably makes the biggest difference (if you are comparing to what is there now) is that we only include sites that were already established at the beginning of the forest change time series, so many new ones are "missing"
