Larry Bird wants you to put respect on LeBron James’ greatness: “I tell people quit whining about LeBron. Enjoy him while he’s here. He’s unbelievable. To me, he’s one of the greatest, if not the greatest ever.” One all-time great respecting another all-time great! 💯🐐

@olympicbean Pop's system was more restrictive towards an individual player. None of Pop's championship teams relied on one guy to carry the offensive load and scoring was very spread out. So Kobe wouldnt be able to go after scoring records

David Stern and ESPN shoved Russell, Wilt, and Kareem's careers under the rug to prop up the NBA in the 90s, and its done irrepairable damage

When the basketball savants and historians look back on the game of basketball ,that MJ 3 peat twice is going to catch their attention, and MJ and Russell will be at the top ...👊

When people shit on 1960s players stats because of "pace" They have 0 clue what theyre talking about. As if its a guarantee players later on could sustain that pace for many years to go along with that level of physicality.

Bill Russell once said if he played against Shaq he would run him up and down the floor all night long. I'm guessing he would do the same to the defending MVP
