I’m incredibly disheartened by the Democratic Party leadership that was just elected. In seems like we are doubling down on identify politics when we need to become brawlers for the middle class. We’ll blame Kamala’s loss on an allegedly racist and sexist American public, but can’t admit being leaderless for four years with a president too senile to do real interviews had an impact. A devastating poll came out today showing the American people identify our party with elitism and LGBT more than economics. This is completely untenable. This is a moment we need new leadership and a new direction but no one is willing to change.
