I've been thinking a lot about Disney+ and it's revenue streams. Its main revenue is from subscriptions and advertising. People keep saying that The Acolyte is a financial failure - due to streaming ratings, minutes watched. But here's the thing. Not all revenue is based on that.

Sitting in one spot as well - easier to pick up, breathing in the same air as those around you, even spaced apart. Vs movement through the aisle at the grocery store. Get in, get out. Shouldn't be spending the same amount of time at a grocery store that you do eating a meal.

Oh, I read it. While I agree it's likely the drug trade was involved, there is plenty to show that it was just a homophobic. It's definitely got a bias in it - one of the 3 items referenced as a source is an article questioning whether hate crime laws are needed.

Does no one pay attention to ratings? It's TV-14. Not PG, not G. If people are letting their under 14 year olds watch on their own a show with adult themes where adults participate in violence or sexual moments, maybe they need to pay better attention anyways.

Same reason Cap didn't age while on ice from 1945-2011. Both were frozen (Bucky by Hydra between missions)There's some evidence of aging (hair growth, etc) when we see Bucky in CA:tWS (2013-2014). By Endgame (2023), Cap's aged 12 years. Then he goes the long way 1948-2023.

Did you read the article? The child is non-verbal and the only way they can communicate is by reading his emotions. In this case, the Mom, who is the child's caregiver knows him well enough to know he would be incredibly unhappy at the wedding. I think she knows best.

Likely, if someone watched for Marvel/Star Wars (like I do, they were already subbed. I buy the yearly. Regardless of viewing, those fans are already subbed. Did it bring in new subs? We don't know. We can assume the dislikers didn't watch. But still have their D+ subbed.

Yes. We see him through the female gaze lens - whose is it? Mae and Osha’s for the majority of the time. In battle I would say Sol’s viewpoint. He is who is based on who he is interacting w. The Stranger is a chameleon and we do not know him well without the other characters.

My belief is that padawans under the age of majority don't usually go on missions so she's still taking classes/training. Supported by Jecki being in a training class back at the temple and saying previously that she's been a padawan for 6 yrs and it was her first mission.
