Tomorrow is my last day of third-year rotations! 🤯 Looking back, the best year of med school thus far - I learned so much and will forever remember some of the patients I had the opportunity to care for.
Can't wait for 4th year and working towards becoming an OBGYN!

Heart is so warm— my 91 year old grandma who has been double vaccinated for a few weeks now got to do some of her fav things for the first time in a year. She is hoping to get back to church (she is president of the senior club), volunteering at the hospital, all the fun things!

M3 is IT - after starting med school in Fall 2020 and practically virtual med school for 2yrs… I have met SO many people in third year that I probably wouldn’t have been friends with otherwise and feel so lucky 🥹 the class of 2024 has the best people but I’m biased 🤫

RT!!! my gyn onc attending yesterday brought up that most of these reasons are paternalistic… and I’d agree. People have tried to talk me out of going into obgyn more times than I’d like to admit 😭
I am really tired of everybody I work with telling me how awful my life will be if I do OBGYN. Even though I know how excited I was going to the hospital, assisting in surgery and deliveries, I’d really appreciate some encouraging words 🙏🏻
