@MichaelMindrum Unfortunately, obesity contributes to bad health outcomes. There’s ways in which physicians can empathize and avoid judging their patients. That said, weight loss comes down to a caloric deficit - quite simply it comes back to the first law of thermodynamics.

@SamaHoole Your body can re-arrange carbs into fat if needed. This is the idea behind lipogenesis. You do not need to eat fat in order to supply your body with lipids.
