Today I worked with a medical student in the clinic. She was so invested, well prepared, and smart! I got the chance to teach her what I knew, but I also learned a lot from her. The future of neurology is brilliant with the incoming generations! 🧠

Today my patient’s wife told me she needed to talk to a white doctor because she didn’t understand any of my “bs” 🧘🏼♂️. I see how it feels, but it’s another reason to bring more efforts to increase inclusion and tolerance.

Me: have you noticed any visual hallucinations, like seeing things that might not be real?
Patient: only my wife
Me: but she is real!
Patient: sometimes she is unreal 🥹
🥲😭❤️
@DrPHO_ID
As a resident, pre-rounding has helped me increase patients’ satisfaction by addressing problems such as pain before rounds, or even put orders to help in the diagnosis. Neurology has an individualized approach since patients can deteriorate without others noticing.
Today I’ll present a very rare case for the IM noon conference. I have learned a lot from it. My PD, without asking her, called me yesterday to make sure I felt prepared.
@UthoustonR
and its faculty surprise me every day! Wish me luck!

Let’s promote the continuity of medical education for

in the US. The proposed changes can become an obstacle for future residents and fellows to accomplish their goals, interrupting advances in medicine.

Just saw a code stroke for possible CRAO in a patient with a very tight window for TNK. Very lucky to have had the
