The era of Roe is ended. Now we redouble and expand our efforts to address the underlying factors that make abortion appear the only alternative for so many women. Let’s give our money, time, and prayers to that end: to render abortion unthinkable because support is so abundant.

Sanctification rarely looks like an immediate ceasing of a particular sin. It more often looks like an increase in the distance between repeated sins, and a decrease in the distance between committing them and confessing them. God is so patient with his children.

First step to building a sustainable women’s ministry: Change your starting question from, “What do our women want to do?” to, “How are healthy disciples formed?” Then align WM philosophy and practice with the overall discipleship strategy of the church.

Don't reduce "gospel-centered" to "justification-centered". The Good News is more than our freedom from sin's penalty. It's also our progressive freedom from sin's power and ultimate freedom from sin's presence. Justification, sanctification, and glorification are all the gospel.

Songs of faith are teaching tools, and effective ones. In an age of widespread biblical/theological illiteracy, leaders must choose those songs with care. Many who will sing them under our leadership are spiritual infants. Imagine if the lyrics of the ABC song were 85% accurate.

It's to our loss that "quiet and gentle spirit" is often regarded as a uniquely feminine aspiration. A meek and peaceable disposition is commendable in (and commended to) both men and women (cf Matt 5:5, Matt 21:5, 1 Tim 2:1-2). We look to Christ Himself as its example.
