As a Community Engagement Manager, the #IACP2024 workshop, “Actionable Guidance for Establishing a Comprehensive Community Policing Model Within Your Agency” was one of my favorite sessions to participate in. Chicago Police Director of Community Engagement Glen Brooks, Assistant Commissioner of the Royal Bahamas Police Force Dr. Chaswell Hanna Ph.D., Chief David Hess of the Roxboro Police Department, Chief James Lyon Augusta University Police and Serve and Connect CEO Kassy Alia Ray Ph.D., all shared valuable lessons learned and successes in their community policing models.
