Our governments can not open the door for allowing non-Canadians to run our governments.

The REP program was put in place to incentivize people getting vaccinated, it worked really well. Approximately 90% of people are now vaccinated.
It was never meant as a way to reduce transmission and with the vaccinated being a vector of Omicron the REP becomes ineffective. /1
Coun. Jennifer Wyness asks why, with all the public health measures in place, the peak of the fifth wave was so much higher than the others.
CEMA Chief Henry says that's hard to fully answer, but it's largely because of the extreme transmissibility of the Omicron variant.
