@heymrsbond THIS. I *completely* understand why vulnerable people are making plans to move, and I know people mean well when they suggest we do so. But I do not want to be told to move like it’s easy to give up decades of history. My people. My home. My entire life! (I’m in TX, too.)

@rationalhumanis @Summer603ZZZ @wil_da_beast630 There are teachers on every campus in America who are paid with federal funds like Title 1 money to work with certain special populations like children in poverty or children with special needs. Federal dollars may not go to *every* kid but they do go to many.
