I lost my first baby at 21 weeks due to pre-eclampsia the word ‘mother’ being a mother, then being able to identify as having been a mother was so important to me in my grief afterwards. It encapsulated what I had lost. Language matters.

10 years; pre-eclampsia, a major car crash, two spinal injections, multiple surgeries on my shoulder, 2 c-sections, a hysterectomy and sepsis and I’ve finally crawled through a 5K again! I hurt all over but I made it!

Son is getting gentle introduction into the facts of life next week at school. As he is very vocal plus an ivf baby vets son and recent witness of cat conception pregnancy and birth I think class 2 are in for the accelerated program.
