Dravid calling Rohit the greatest ever 6 hitter the world has ever produced and Rohit getting shy good fucking bye
They’re all praising him sm now and he’s only looking down bcs he’s shy 😂😂😭😭byeeee
He spoke SO highly of Rohit in the interview.
I don’t think there’s anyone who MADE Bumrah the bowling beast he is today but I’m glad he had someone like Rohit backing him and helping him get better through his most transformative years. He def genuinely appreciates that effort
It's been an honour watching this man bat in CWC's. Gave me goosebumps so often. Made me fall in love with his batting all over again, over and over. Been a beautiful ride, mi amor 💝
"Mumbai Indians is now Pandya’s team, even if it is tough to accept. He can run the side according to his will if he has been given the freedom, and this even includes sending Rohit to field in the outfield if he deems it best."
Are y’all fucking stupid? Do you know what question he was asked when he said that? Do you? Did you just pick this off twt and post it with your passive aggressive tweet? I’m so tired of these fake neutral accounts man. Scum of X.
One of the best best parts about the CWC’23 was watching Ro and Kohli run towards e/o like lill children after a wicket was taken or celebrating e/o’s batting milestones etc. Those moments held SO much power. I remember how much positivity they created on my feed 🥺 major miss
Shady 😭 if you’re this confident in your decision, talk about it openly
Talk about it with pride, no? This goes more for Mark lol
He said so much a couple days ago ab kya hua
They look super uncomfortable
Some of y’all ARE SO
ANNOYING. WE’RE INDIANS. WE’RE NOT THE AUSSIES. OUR CULTURE IS DIFFERENT. OUR PASSION FOR CRICKET IS UNREAL. Why do y’all have to keep insinuating that we be more like them? Pathetic, pathetic mentality. Who is forcing y’all to be here man? Leave. Ffs.
Anyone with even a tiny bit of EQ can tell that he’s not okay here.
Sucks to see :/
I’ve seen him look happy with his ICT boys after November so this isn’t an ongoing WC loss grief thing for sure ☠️
Glad I grew up watching the sport without social media exposure
Kids on CT will never experience that
kinda sucks bcs this platform takes A LOT away from just,
how you view /feel about the sport and the players who play it
Everything is 10x complicated here
*shot goes for a 4*
Comm box: I don’t think ben stokes will be unhappy. I don’t think mark wood will be unhappy. That was so close to stokes!
Meanwhile, stokes and wood: *hanging their heads in disappointment*
She’s deleted the post.
We’ve become so intolerant as a country towards opinions/stances that don’t align with the majority, however legitimate they may be. This shit is so scary man. Y’all don’t see what type of human beings this horrible mentality is producing/moulding. Scary.
There’s literally a video out there of fans from the stadium talking about how Rohit tried to stop the booing but bcs it makes him look decent, it’s ‘paid PR’
I really hate it here
I knew shit was going to blow up after last night and it did
Been an ICT fan since 2011
Have watched all the greats play for us since then, have loved them dearly too
But it was only relatively recently that I realised I had an extra something for Ro
Man, his journey has been inspiring beyond words 🤧he’s…..amazing
What Bumrah said about numbers, accolades and milestones is exactly what Rohit was trying to convey but CT has made a joke out of that statement. Bumrah said he doesn’t looks at those things bcs it builds too much pressure on him. Can’t be himself that way.
Do you guys realise how much character this team showed when we were V close to losing? An Indian t20WC team constructed even last year could not have pulled this off. This is the after math of some horrible, horrible days. They didn’t give up. They fought LIKE CRAZY. They won.
Fucked his own records so he could get the team to finish line eventually and now he’s left with nothing. Idk how a person deals with this type of a heartbreak.
I see men (or boys idk) here already coming for Natasha’s throat like, are y’all fucking stupid? How do y’all even know what went down? Bhai, beta ho tum uske? People drag women so casually on this platform…….
When we get results- THE TEAM DID THIS 😍
When we don’t- ROHIT SHARMA DID THIS 😡
Isse acha step down karle. I’m so done with the constant bashing and hateful comments. He’ll go down REGARDLESS of what he does. Let’s see kya change hota hei. We’ve seen this script before.
Rohit Sharma as a Test captain:
Beat SL: 2-0 [H]
Beat AUS: 2-1 [H]
Beat WI: 1-0 [A]
Draw SA: 1-1 [A]
Leading ENG: 2-1*[H]
He is leading by example in the transition phase for India. 🇮🇳
Most things that Ro was getting belted for (being a part of the squad as well) make sense now
Look quite wonderful now
I had my doubts too, about his t20 game
But he’s gone almost out of his way to shut everyone’s mouths up
RGS man,
Such a brute force in sport
At the age 37 🫡
This persons tweets keep turning up on my tl bcs ofc some weirdo mutual keeps liking them but fr
It’s true
Every other person from this FC is constantly bitching about someone or the other, every single day. Relentless. They (especially) make Twitter such a horrible space. How
Another one of his many horrendous performances prior to being promoted as an opener, just before the 2011 WC. Interestingly, he even opened in the last 3 ODIs in this series.
There's not a single Indian player that has been backed like this.
The comm box would have eaten Rohit alive if Eng went from being at 33/3 to a point where they were leading by 420+ runs
I hear well, not too much about how England might be going wrong here 😴
Virat:
“When I was walking up the steps,
I was crying
He (Rohit) was crying
And we hugged
For me, that’s going to be a very special memory from that day.”
🥹💙serotonin levels through the roof right now.
This post is so weird on so many levels
Peak wannabe shit
Why’d you get into the fkn auto in the first place, if you had an issue with who was driving it? The audacity to record this and post it here 🤢🤮
@belongs2raghu
Ahh I don't think you should get into such discussions at all. It's a never ending thing. Nothing you say will knock sense into their heads. They'll just keep coming at you till the end of time bcs they've got nothing better to do. I've seen It happen way too often.
It’s Incredible how Rohit was being able to transition quite nicely from ODI Cricket to Test Cricket to T20I Cricket in the past couple of months. Few can do this as well as he did. He’s had a few hiccups here and there but that’s about it. Still amazes me that he’s 37.
Every one who has the honour of being in close proximity to Ro only has the most beautiful words to say about him👌What a man. What a pookie🥹what a human being to look up to💙
He should post more IMO🙂
Always gives credit where it’s due
Barely came forward even during the victory parade
Had to be forced
Would’ve been dragged through the mud if we had lost
He should be able to do whatever the fuck he wants now
We love to see it and we’re here to
Man, Ro really really deserves this. From being dropped from the squad in ‘11 to reinventing himself as one of the greatest batsmen in the country to leading the national team to 10 victories in WC ‘23 with SHEER GRACE and BRILLIANCE….his story just HAS to end well.
So much of what he said was not reported at all. Again quoted out of context.
He didn’t take a dig at anyone.
Clearly said that he doesn’t know anyone around or away who does not have the hunger to play.
I can't believe I see so many Indians here have an issue with other people in India speaking up against a genocide bcs of their own political Ideologies......it's just infuriating and pathetic. Peak cult like behaviour.
@shaanwaseem2
The issue here is that
She seems as though she’s insinuating that because Cricket is more skill oriented, it’s surprising that it gets the kind of attention it does
Why??
Like I’m sorry but how do you tell people to love other sports more bcs they’re more physically exhausting
You’ve given me the worlds worth of happiness and hope
@ImRo45
Especially in the past couple of months.
Forever grateful💙
Onwards and upwards for you…
yes, at thirty bloody seven years of age.
I just saw how triggered and horrible people are being in the quotes
No wonder he didn’t post after the WC loss
He’s in no way obligated to fuck with his mental health just bcs y’all have an agenda to run
Man I feel bad for athletes
🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
Imagine (won’t happen, I know) this guy in RR man
Him yuzi ash sanju yash jurel buttler boult etc
what a team what a team
They’d also love to have him around in whatever capacity
I’m sure🥹🩷
Arshdeep Singh with his nerves of steel. I had not imagined even in my wildest dreams that he would carry himself as well as he did in this WC. Was brought in during a very stressful phase of the match yday and performed brilliantly.A winner in its true sense. So excited for him!
The same annoying ass FC still talking about the WC final ‘apology tweet’ as though he owed y’all idiots something of ALLL the people he wanted to win for.
so miserable and PETTY. Hope he does more things to make y’all cry:)
His wife had posted this picture on her own IG
and Rutu reposted it on his story with 'one love' playing in the BG (too cute) lmao bhaad mei gayi tum logo ki rivalry
he's a lover boy 😂
@ImRo45
hope this win along with the happiness and celebrations that it has instigated pushes you to keep going till 2027 while you’re still doing well. We can beat the odds again cmon lfggg
This article is sooo ‘decades down the line, if someone asks who Rohit Sharma was, show them this article’
Here’s to hoping that the next 1.5-2 years bring a new, happier narrative regarding him 🥹💙
Why does a majority of 18FC here think that Ro is like
A shit batsman
Who has not achieved shit
Who does not deserve any accolades
Who gets love and attention only bcs of PR stuff
Like I’ve seen SO many accounts (not even trolls) with the same POV
Like obñivious as fuck man
Man they’re(ENG) getting thrashed
Mind you
This is the same Indian team everyone said would get fucked against ENG bcs of Bazball, its inexperience, absence of Ash, the captain and what not. Lol
I am so bloody proud today. Never doubted them.
Just wanted to get the job done :”)
What a way to retire from a format he has not been his best in. With a WC win. As the captain. As the leading run scorer for his team. Stuff of dreams. Let’s kill it in ODI’s and Tests now 😤
@redball2004
Virat was at least trying man
But everyone else…
This is so horrible to see
Rohit should have stuck around :/
But that’s easier to say now that we know what happened end mei
Two amazing campaigns in back to back WC’s (as a batter and as a captain)
2nd highest run scorer in one
highest In another
One of our best(or best) WTC batters in the last cycle
One WT20 WC win (first trophy after a decade)
4-1 Test series win against England with a very
4.6k likes on this :) and y’all ask us to not generalise the entire breed. That post was not even close to HALF as controversial as it was made out to be. Proper outrage addicted lill miserable shits. Every single day I’m just like “OKAY WHAT THE F IS MAKING Y’ALL THIS MAD?” I
I’m glad he thinks he’s good enough to go on and try harder at an age people think of leaving the sport for good. The best part is that he’s not all talk, no game. I admire him so much man jeeeez
Rohit Sharma said, "if one day I wake up and feel I'm not good enough, I'll step away from cricket. I feel I've bettered my game in the last 2-3 years". (JioCinema).
