Zijn speedpedelecs op fietspaden waar ook kindjes fietsen goed idee? (Ik besef dat het anders had kunnen zijn zonder die verlichtingspaal waar fietser tegenaan knalde, maar toch…). Snelheid aanpassen aan drukte zou een goed begin zijn - besef dat ook bij fietsers moet groeien🤷♀️

My mum’s birthday today. She would have been 98 (died 4 years ago). Amazing person who lived life to the fullest. Even when she was 90+ she still enjoyed reading, “cheers!” moments and not to forget “lipstick moments”😅. Still miss our weekly talk setting the world to rights.

Following a river is a favourite pastime, so I often end up in the city centre. At 1°C and sunshine galore it was a marvelous 7.5km stroll from my home to the centre and back. Kudos to myself😅

Feeling a bit weird. Husband retires on Friday. For 10 years I was alone during the week (I’m 5 yrs older and retired at 60). I decided what and when to eat, what to do, where to go…I’ll have to adapt to a different rhythm I suppose. Thrilling😅
