@liran_tal Zig (bun), C++ (Node.js), and Rust (Deno) are all pretty comparable in terms of performance. I doubt anyone would seriously try to argue that Rust would make more sense than those 3 on performance grounds. If anything, it's probably marginally the worst out of the 3.

@oldmanuk For rails I think brew makes the most sense. Personally I just use rustup—I don't find that mise has much value for rust development.

@jarredsumner yes, but I'd like more experimentation on what a runtime is supposed to be. Case in point:

@mblayman @dansult lol that's funny—I wrote both mise and the heroku cli. This is definitely what I am going for with mise tasks.

asdf 0.15 -> 0.16 also involves more breaking changes than asdf 0.15 -> mise—which isn't great. I hope they can close some of those since I think they'll be problems. Especially requiring bin/download in plugins 😬
