This website is pretty cool, you put a link from WeBuyCars, AutoTrader or something and it tells you how much a car is truly worth A base M140i was R652,802 new, this dealer is asking an insane 780k for one with 34,000KM, it should be around 546k 🌎:

@maureensrose Yeah that doesn’t look right! Sometimes the website matches with the wrong car because every car listing has a different way of describing the car. Sorry about that, I’m working on it 😬🙏 Check that the car title matches the car valuation info by hovering over the (?)👇

The automotive data provider thought I was dumping/stealing their data and shut me down. In reality, CarPriceValue just became too popular 😌 The bad news is that my API account won't be enabled anytime soon coz now they want to charge per lookup instead of the prev flat fee 😞

One year ago today was my first day of being unemployed. I quit my job to make internet money and since then I've made $0 from selling a product I've built. I'm thankful to have survived this past year on freelance dev work and savings. Both the best & worst year yet 🥂

First installation of AdSlicer on a live ecommerce store and nothing exploded (yet)! It wasn't the one-click solution I was aiming for, but I got it done (manually). Now I can collect visitor events and see if I can actually improve the visibility of Facebook ad conversions.

Looking back in time to before people got famous, you'd be surprised to see that they've been doing the same work, saying the same things for a very long time. But people only caught on now. Look @JustinRoiland 's prev work. Look @naval 's prev interviews. Consistently authentic.

Update on my first ecom brand: I was a very expensive photographer's assistant yesterday. My main job was to get our model to laugh, on-demand. I immediately became the most unfunny person that has ever existed. Which in turn was hilarious. Still got it baby! 😌

@Sdira_ The retail value estimate takes mileage, year, and region into consideration. So the seemingly same car from different websites will probably have a different retail valuation.

The less idle time I have, the more I get done. For a brief moment I avoided more responsibilities in fear of being trapped by it. But I was trapped by my idle time instead. Idle time is not free time, it’s just wasted time. I’m starting to be more deliberate with my time now.

Having more public figures to learn from, exposes you to more opposing ideas. Some ideas might make you feel uncomfortable, so it creates crossroads that forces you to choose a path or create your own. Long straight roads lead to passive people.

Just a friendly reminder that a permanent job is not as permanent as you think. It’s just a fancy word for outsourcing the stress of finding a certain amount of money at the end of each month. It’s permanent until it’s not anymore.
