The Audi S8 is far too clever (and fast). Level 2 autonomy in traffic for those boring drives to work, where the car can accelerate, brake and steer on your behalf, but you still need to keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. Then there's that ultra luxury cabin!

Fortunate to get behind the wheel of the newly launched Audi RS4 Avant today. I'd forgotten how sublime the V6 turbo is! Happy to report it's also luxurious & comfortable in peak traffic. Wasn't too stoked with having to photograph a black car, but it really looks demonic.

I don't understand how Range Rover managed to blend comfort and sportiness on 23-inch wheels so well, but the new RR Sport is an incredibly plush machine. Six-cylinder diesel engine is mega too. But, when you're paying R2.4 million, you expect excellence.

Such a cutie, but sadly past its sell-by date. Too expensive (R580k), too small to be a family car + an infotainment screen that's smaller than a smartphone. The ride is jittery, vibrations at 100kph and the auto gearbox won't hold the car on a hill. I'm sad, coz look at it!
