Major insight for how the conserved N-linked glycan in IgG gets sialylated, not in B cells, but in endosomal compartments of endothelial cells during recycling by the FcRn receptor!

I have big news, or at least it's big news for my lab. After something like 11 years, we have FINALLY discovered where IgG is sialylated. Not in B cells, the plasma, or platelets. In the endothelium with FcRn help! #glycotime #glycobiology #IgG
