Campaigns which are struggling because of environment often will oversell an attack. This is a prime example. No voter is going to believe that a car dealership is the reason an entire plant closed down. It doesn’t pass the smell test.
Ohioans like Doug paid the price after Bernie Moreno sold Chinese-made cars, the same cars that led to the Lordstown plant closing and thousands of Ohioans losing their jobs.

A GOP operative on the Ohio Senate race sent this: Tim Ryan's campaign aired his Bernie Kosar ad with 2X more penetration in Cincinnati than Cleveland.
Bernie Kosar was a divisional rival of the Cincinnati Bengals in the 80s and 90s - fans there have a deep hatred for him.
