Today, Congress had a choice: stand with American families or side with the cartels. 107 Democrats voted against the HALT Fentanyl Act and showed exactly where they stand. @HouseGOP passed the bill to crack down on traffickers and stop this poison. Anyone who opposed it put politics over American lives.

Every day, NINE North Carolinians lose their lives to fentanyl overdoses. The HALT Fentanyl Act comes to the floor today to shut down loopholes and give law enforcement the power to take on traffickers. I’ll proudly vote YES—unlike the 132 Democrats who opposed it last Congress.
