🚨 Hamas seems to be violating the ceasefire agreement and declared it is suspending the release of hostages. Are we surprised? Following the latest release, I told @lauraingle on @NewsNation that “I don’t see this ceasefire lasting…for the simple reason that we all understand: Hamas cannot continue to exist AND for there to be a peace.” You can’t rebuild Gaza, you can’t build up a civil society when that society is controlled by a terrorist organization. @LawfareProject

Attorney General @PamBondi issued a Memorandum establishing Joint Task Force October 7 (JTF 10-7), which will focus on seeking justice for victims of the attack and addressing the ongoing threat posed by Hamas and its affiliates - not just abroad, but domestically. 47 US citizens were killed, and 8 were abducted, by Hamas and its supporters on October 7. I was privileged to join @NTDNews to discuss this task force, and what we can expect to see it do. @TheJusticeDept will pursue criminal charges against the perpetrators of the October 7 attack, including seeking the arrest and extradition of #Hamas leadership (some of whom are in Qatar and other countries in the Middle East). It will also investigate and prosecute those responsible for funding Hamas. This is VERY significant, because it is anticipated to implicate many individuals (including students and professors on college campuses) and organizations that profess to fundraise for Gaza or Gaza relief - remember, Gaza is ruled by Hamas as an Islamist dictatorship, and all "relief efforts" are inevitably under the control of Hamas. This may also implicate organizations like CAIR, who have long had ties to Islamist organizations in the Middle East. Working with the @InternRevServ and the @USTreasury, we can expect investigations to "follow the money" and bring appropriate charges. Perhaps most importantly, the Justice Department will also investigate and prosecute "acts of terrorism, antisemitic civil rights violations, and other federal crimes committed by Hamas supporters in the United States, including on college campuses." *** FINALLY, after nearly 16 months of Americans being terrorized on campuses and on city streets, we have the clear start of government action to uphold our rights and protect our country. *** I look forward to providing information to the task force about private-sector investigations into terrorism finance that are highly relevant to this memorandum, as well as information detailing the numerous antisemitic civil rights violations that @LawfareProject and @EndJewHatred have worked to address.

Privileged to join @livenowfox to discuss the hostage release. Three Israeli hostages were released from captivity today in a lopsided “deal” that saw 183 Palestinians - including many convicted of terrorism and murder - released from incarceration. The scenes in #Gaza are disturbing - masked, armed terrorists celebrating openly by the thousands, after parading the Israelis in a propaganda stunt and forcing them to read speeches. (By the way, that’s prohibited by the Gevena Convention and the law governing armed conflicts, but we don’t hear much about this. Why not? Because the international community does not have the moral fortitude to bring #Hamas terrorists to justice, like it did with Hitler, Milosevic, and other war criminals.) The thousands of terrorists released by Israel in this “deal” will return to terrorism. Just like Yahya Sinwar. Let’s be absolutely clear, there can be no peace or stability in Gaza, in the Middle East, or on this planet while Hamas continues to exist. It has caused a humanitarian crisis among the people of Gaza beyond belief. There can be no reconstruction, no development, no end to the cycle of violence, until there is a fundamental change in the paradigm that has fed Jew-hatred to people starving at the hands of terrorists. Hamas must be eliminated. Then, @POTUS can implement a “Marshall Plan” of reconstruction and development. Everyone knows this will work - the Gulf countries, the Arab people, and the international community. But who will oppose it? The very same people who have a vested interest in continued violence and war in the Middle East. Remember this the next time someone opposes the @realDonaldTrump plan, or opposes eliminating Hamas from Gaza: the people and the countries opposing it have a self-interest. It’s their selfishness and greed that prevents peace. @LawfareProject @FoxNews @DonaldJTrumpJr @LaraLeaTrump @JDVance @SecRubio @SpeakerJohnson @GovMikeHuckabee @PressSec @SecDef @RepStefanik

Let's be perfectly clear, the work being done by @elonmusk, as an advisor to @POTUS, and DOGE, is perfectly within the powers of the Presidency. Not agreeing with their actions - with their choice of programs to cut as wasteful, inappropriate, and not serving the greater good of our country - does not change this reality. Yes, there are some questions that need to be answered about the structure and mechanics of this operation, and yes, Congress does need to step up and limit their spending on the kinds of programs being eliminated. But for now, DOGE is shedding tremendous light on how our government has actually been operating, and that is something we should all appreciate. Privileged to join @NTDNews to discuss!

The Office of Civil Rights within the Department of Health and Human Services (@HHSGov) announced investigations into four medical schools over alleged antisemitic incidents. "After October 7, we saw Jew-hatred explode not just on college campuses and city streets, but in the medical profession. This has caused a lot of concern that anti-Jewish bias in medicine endangers the lives of Jewish patients - and these concerns have not been conclusively addressed to date," said Gerard Filitti, senior counsel at @LawfareProject, which provides pro bono legal services to protect the civil rights of the Jewish community. "The investigations announced by HHS are a crucial first step towards addressing these concerns." "HHS has been so quick to implement @POTUS Executive Order is tacit recognition of the failure on the part of these universities to address antisemitism, despite several lawsuits and congressional investigations," Filitti said. "The Biden Administration, for all its rhetoric, failed to do nearly as much as @realDonaldTrump has in only one week to address Jew-hatred, and we now have a President clearly willing to use the power of the executive branch to take concrete action to stamp out antisemitism and protect the civil rights of Jewish Americans - and all Americans."

Operatives within the government don't even want to allow @elonmusk into their building to see where our taxpayer dollars are going - there is clearly a lot to hide. We're seeing waste on a massive scale. #USAID was meant to promote American interests abroad, not just dole out money on priorities that don't benefit us. That money is being squandered. But it's not just the agencies - we have to ask Congress why this money was appropriated in the first place. Whose projects are these? Please to join @NEWSMAX @toddstarnes to discuss!

Reacting last night to @POTUS press conference with @netanyahu - President Trump is offering a path forward not just for Gaza, but for the whole Middle East. This truly is groundbreaking, and it truly is achievable. But watch how the pro-terrorist lobby throws impediment after impediment to stop this plan!Privileged to join @MeritStreet to discuss!

🚨A federal court judge ruled against @cooperunion in its attempt to escape liability for its failure to protect Jewish students. The Court denied its motion to dismiss most of the claims, and the case moves closer to trial. I stood with @InnaVernikov in front of Cooper Union in October 2023, the morning after Jewish students were cornered in the library by a braying mob of terrorist sympathizers. Today, I’m pleased to say that we are one step closer to getting justice for these brave students. I join in sharing the Court’s dismay in “Cooper Union’s suggestion that the Jewish students should have hidden upstairs or left the building, or that locking the library doors was enough to discharge its obligation under Title VI.” Thanks to my colleagues at @LawfareProject and the terrific lawyers at Arnold & Porter, I have every confidence that we will prevail, sending the clear message that our universities can no longer ignore their legal obligation to protect Jewish students. #EndJewHatred

🚨 @POTUS announces: US "will take over the Gaza Strip" and "we'll own it." President Trump announced a groundbreaking development, which has the makings of a Marshall Plan for rebuilding Gaza and bringing a stable and lasting peace to the Middle East. Some important things to note: 1. The current ceasefire will end, probably without all the hostages being released. Rebuilding Gaza under US control and Hamas remaining in power are mutually exclusive; there can be no version of a long-term agreement in which Hamas remains a viable force in Gaza. Or anywhere. 2. This announcement would not have been made without prior discussions and consultations. Most likely: a. Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE will likely have outsized roles in financing the development of Gaza b. For all their protests, Egypt may yet end up "taking" Hamas leadership - straight into their prisons. Jordan may end up taking in the Arab population of Gaza, or a large portion of them. c. ALL countries in the Middle East are well aware that they have a hand in causing the suffering of the Palestinian people through decades-long policies that saw them excluded from becoming productive members of their societies, forcing them to live in terrorist-controlled areas and feeding them a narrative of Jew-hatred to focus their anger at Israel instead of their failed leadership. d. NONE of the countries in the Middle East (except Iran and Houthi-controlled Yemen) would stand in the way of a pacificaiton plan that eradicates terrorist leadership and infrastucture while actually building up a peaceful civil society. 3. Sadly, not all hostages are likely to make it home. @netanyahu implicitly acknowledged this when identifying Israel's priorities: the first is eliminating Hamas, the second is the return of the hostages. But there is more chance than there has ever been of ending the cycle of violence once and for all. 4. UNRWA is dead. In case it wasn't clear when Israel banned it and Trump announced the US will not fund it, UNRWA will have no role in the modern, post-Gaza Middle East. It can't have a role. Apart from the active participation of some of its employees in terrorist war crimes, and apart from providing cover for Hamas terrorists during this war, UNRWA has been responsible for perpetuating a cycle of hatred and violence that has caused decades of destruction. 5. The UN will have no role in Gaza. And it will likely be asked to leave other parts of the Middle East. Expect to see a "Gulf Relief and Works Agency" - a GRWA - take its place, including not just the Gulf countries but Israel, too. 6. Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries will join the Abraham Accords in short order, which will be a precursor to GRWA and reconstruction. 7. Reconstruction will take longer than 3-5 years, but once it starts, it will quickly speed up. It won't take 10 years. It'll take less. Who will actually carry out the physical labor? Probably migrant workers from South Asia and Africa, with developers from the US heavily involved. 8. The US will provide security guarantees. This does not mean troops on the ground. It means guaranteeing Israel's security as a friend and ally. And it means that we will not allow Iran to continue exporting terrorism or developing a nuclear capability. 9. The US will not actually "own" the Gaza Strip, but will have some right to direct its physical and economic development. Expect, for example, to see a U.S. controlled port in Gaza, long-term. 10. All of this is also designed to exclude China from sinking its claws deeper into the region. Expect them to balk and protest at the UN. Will this work? Absolutely. Just remember, redeveloping Gaza and allowing Hamas to continue existing are mutually exclusive. It's either the Trump Plan for the development of a pacified Gaza, or a peace deal with Hamas that will only perpetuate the cycle of violence. It can't be both. There can be peace in the Middle East, and President Trump just offered a unique and timely way to achieve it.

Jews are from Judea. Israel - including Judea and Samaria - is the indigenous homeland of the Jewish people. These are facts, and denying these facts perpetuates Jew-hatred and violence. Privileged to join @DineshDSouza to discuss @RepStefanik confirmation hearing. Why is the progressive left so quick to deny the history and the lived experience of the Jewish people? Why are other people entitled to recognition of their minority rights and indigenous rights, but not the Jewish people? We know the answer; the “oppression narrative” has been ingrained into neo-Marxist pedagogy to foment discord in society and shake away the last vestiges of democracy by turning us against one another. What better way to change the future than by distorting the past, stripping away history until it is considered a fantasy, and the only reality is that which is dictated to us by an elite in full control of education and the media… @lawfareproject
