Very sad to learn that our esteemed colleague, Andre Freire, has just passed away. I had the pleasure to work with him in a project on MPs in Portugal, Belgium and France (with @oliviercosta ) a bit more than 10 years ago. I only keep nice souvenirs of our collaboration.
André Freire (1961-2024), cientista político e Professor do Isct-IUL, foi um dos mais brilhantes alumni do ICS-ULisboa e um pioneiro dos estudos do comportamento eleitoral. A sua energia, capacidade de trabalho e generosidade vão fazer muita falta à comunidade académica das CSoc.
