@hailKINGSteph It is but it also is a symptom of the expensive world we live in today. In NY, SEA, SF, LA, BOS, and any other city which has a high cost of living, its common for ppl to either live w/ parents or have roommates whichever way to save money. Not many can afford 2K+ on their own.

I think I can say NY is headed back to the dark days of the crack era. A young mother got popped in the head pushing her baby in a stroller. She was only 20. She was just a kid smh. And this was on the Upper East Side too just 2 hrs ago. And the UES is a very affluent area.

@hailKINGSteph I'm in NY too, yes, it can be a bit much. I didn't get my own place at 19. I was in community college at the time, took me 3 years to graduate. I didnt get my BA til I was 24. I had a job in between. There are kids who spent 7 (law) to 8 (med) years of school who come out broke.
