This is a rigorous quantitative study on how to design and functionalize protein condensates to make synthetic organelles for biotechnological applications. Congratulations Mack (@M_T_Walls)!! Your tour de force studies are paying off!
I am beyond thrilled to be able to share my first first-author manuscript! š„³ It has been a long time coming! Wouldn't have been possible without all of the help and support from Kevin Xu, @javalosLAB, & @brangwynnelab. Stay tuned for more!

Awesome endorsement Jared (@toettch). Thank you so much!
If you're interested in optogenetics with a dash of metabolic engineering (or metabolic engineering with a dash of optogenetics), you can't do better than Jose's lab! A great mentor with great ideas.
