You notice whenever we get a Hollywood film depicting enslavement we rarely see resistance at this level (if at all)? Can you imagine seeing something like this depicted on screen?
This is also ever rarely taught. Which is a shame because resistance was constant.
Reading about an enslaved 14- year-old girl named Judah who in 1834 in PG County, MD, poisoned her master's two sons. They died. During that confession, she also disclosed that two years earlier, at age 12, she burned down her master's house and killed his infant daughter.
