@AlbertIkama As for number of hives,It’s not a one size fits all. It really depends on many factors such as proximity to humans, water availability, type of plants growing there etc.Start small and increase gradually as you tend to the land.Youll know when there are enough.🐝🙏🏾

@Nyokaffiii @nyabinghidread Adulteration of honey is actually a global problem. Kenya currently only meets about 20% of its local market demand…The other 80% is met through importation and ukarabati. I can recommend some people who have really good honey.🍯🐝🍯🐝🍯

While I understand that African bees are different and sometimes highly defensive,It is still possible to do this.I for example have mentored a 6 year old who is now very comfortable being around bees.I hope we can see more schools here adopting such programs.🐝🐝🐝🐝

@cheru7 Do they just come to forage and leave or have they swarmed on the tree?

There are major untapped opportunities in Kenya &Africa if only Governments could invest more in beekeeping.Beekeepers remain unsupported and they’re a major defense force against environmental and climate issues because their income directly relies on having a clean environment.
