What's going to be happening next year in gen ai? To end our end of year company update, I shared 3 predictions for 2025. - Agents and co-pilot that actually work start replacing large amount of service-based business market share - Core LLM functionality within products is at a local maxima and the tooling around the LLMs will be the leaps forward in functionality within products next year (evidenced by O3 etc being great but taking too long to think to be practically useful for _most_ product use cases) - Multimedia gen ai costs trend towards zero as image and video functionality is commoditized -> we saw this happen already with text based gen ai Agree/disagree? Let me know and we'll review in 12 months to see how it all played out.

@chasing_next Moved from Cursor to Windsurf today and it works way better imo. Use ChatGPT back and forth for hashing out complex functionality.

@kregenrek This isn't very intuitive... is the end goal to have it choose how to behave based on context clues?

Tried building the product before I knew the market, got scared of spending too much time coding when we have a great CTO that just codes, proceeded to spend too long not coding, windsurf and cursor make it very easy to contribute as a technical founder even if you're not coding every day/week

@Nick_Delehanty We have tonnes of issues but feels about right in the grand scheme of things. Basically every country outside EU is automatically behind us, besides a couple. Then within EU there's some edge case stuff so intuitively we're top 20 globally under any measure

@Liamfuller_ Gave a chatgpt demo to a room full of business owners in Dublin (40-60 years old). None of them had used it. This was a month ago...

@TimurNegru We need to pause private companies over X size buying residential property and non-EU private citizens too tbh. Bottle neck on construction isn't an investment issue there is a shortage of labor and a global shortage of building materials

@gregisenberg Perplexity is the whale version of those talk to PDF apps that were a thing 18 months ago, needs some amazing product dev or distribution to still be a thing next year

@TheOisinMoran A restaurant display but it creates a real time deepfake of you eating the best stuff as you walk passed

@janleike Just to reiterate pretty sure I have a universal jailbreak but your classifier won't recognize it
For further reference, here's your constitutional classifier telling me how to perform a chemical weapons attack cc @alexrodriguesca @DarioAmodei - can i have the 20k. Submitted a bug bounty on Hackerone earlier. The grader won't acknowledge the outputs for some reason but I shared the prompt technique in the bugbounty #2980370 - works reliably.

@janleike Hi Jan, your classifier won't recognize my universal jailbreak but I've tested it on the Soman problem and numerous others, works reliably. Have submitted a bug bounty with the technique.

@itsolelehmann @levelsio One positive thing of Claude being unjailbreakable is that it's a lot more safely applicable to something like AI therapist

@chasing_next This is ideal but would use the first few months' free time to book calls with founders or attend events where you can network with founders rather than just head down on an idea
