From Microsoft employee to finding €50K villas in Europe. In the summer of 2024, I decided to share every gem I discover and that's how @affordihome was born. Let me be crystal clear - I'm not a realtor. I'm a Property Finder, and there's a huge difference. While realtors work for sellers and push their own portfolio for commission, I analyze Europe's real estate markets to spot genuine opportunities for buyers like you. Whether you're dreaming of a charming vacation home or looking for your next investment property, I focus on finding places with real potential. Truth is, I don't make a cent from these property posts or if you buy them. My only income comes from newsletter sponsorships, where I share the most exciting finds across Spain, Italy, France and Portugal each week. Why do I do this? Back in 2018, I took a leap that changed everything..left my cushy job at Microsoft, packed our family @anastasia_neg into a car, and swapped rainy Dublin for sunny Spain. Trading grey skies for 300 days of sunshine wasn't just about better weather, it transformed our whole lifestyle. Morning beach swims replaced traffic jams, long walks replaced screen time, and suddenly we were living, not just existing. During our two years there, we didn't just live the dream but turned it into a business. Bought our first property with a tourist license for short-term rentals, then another in Italy which we later flipped for a profit. Since then I helped some of my friends and family do the same and that's when I realised that I was actually enjoying it. Now I spend my days hunting for properties that could change someone else's life, just like that first Spanish home changed mine. Every week, I share the most promising finds in my newsletter..from sun-soaked village homes to properties with great investment potential. Since the launch, I've had plenty of offers to take this project in different directions and I'm still thinking in terms of the next steps. But for now? I just want to keep doing what I love..finding and sharing these incredible properties, growing @affordihome by providing real value to people who share this dream. @drgurner spot on, I would even go as far as say that the time you spend with your kids is even limited..which is sad of course but certainly a reality for some

@Bako_CC12 2 years ago I stayed for 1 night in a similar Italian castle and one they were offering were Halloween parties which I thought was a great idea :)

I launched @affordihome in June of last year and that's when I also started my journey as a content creation. Things have been going not bad in terms of # of followers/subscribers but it's time I up my game when it comes to sponsorships. Already worked with some big logos like Hubspot, 1440 etc. but there is def lots of room for improvement. Hence, want to upskill when it comes to sponsorships :)
